Staff and location. I had my birthday during my stay, and the staff offered me free cake 🎂
Location is very nice but you’re very close to most dangerous and not safe neighborhoods. I didn’t have any issue but you must be very careful late at night on return.
Once in this neighborhood I got robbed years ago, and its not hotel fault but you are close to neighborhoods that are a bit danger to walk at night, but still very close taksim which makes it easier to move around.
Nothing - we left immedicatly to find another accomodation
The apartment we were given was not at Zendy Suites, but 4/5 doors up the road. It was dark and poorly maintained, with tired furniture, marks on the couch, and an old, worn-out kitchen and bathroom. The bedrooms were gloomy, with bars on all the windows, and the “outdoor area” was just a concrete box. There were also bars on the front windows, and the apartment was literally right on the road.
The worst part was the overwhelming smell of cat urine coming from the back area and the bedrooms — completely unbearable. When we reported it to reception, we were told to just “open the window,” which obviously didn’t help. The receptionist then showed us the actual Zendy Suites rooms inside the hotel — they were small but lovely — unfortunately, none were available.
I was concerned as tthere was a no refund policy on my booking but the receptionist assusred me that this is not a problem and he proceeded to phone the manager, and then advised that we could just leave, cancel the booking through the website, and said that when booking.com would email them, they would approve a full refund. We followed those instructions, but later saw our refund request was declined, and I’ve since spent countless hours during and after my trip trying to resolve this with Booking.com but as they are only an intermedicatory and Zendy has already cashed the payment, and is refusing to accept a refund they can't help me.
If you’re booking Zendy, make absolutely sure the room is inside the hotel, not the off-site apartment, and don’t rely or trust on what the reception tells you. The only good thing about the experience was the great location.
I had a wonderful stay at Zendy Suite Hotel in Istanbul. The hotel was extremely clean and very quiet, which made our stay very good and comfortable. The location is excellent—just about 6 minutes from Taksim Square, in a very good and accessible area with plenty of local restaurants nearby.
A special thank you to Kasra, who was incredibly kind and made our stay even more enjoyable. We also appreciate the rest of the staff for their great service and hospitality.
After our flight was canceled, we returned to the hotel again the same day because we liked it so much—and we were happy to come back. We will definitely choose this place again when we will visit Istanbul.

Нас заселили не в отель, а в какую то квартиру на первом этаже, со страрым ремонтом наверно лет 30 назад. Обсолютно не соответствовал фотографиям. Все было ржавщее. В ванной комнате были на стенах и потолке грибковые налеты. Микровалновка и чайник были ужасно грязными и сама кухня была очень грязным. Двери не закрывались. Освещение было ужасное. При дожде был такой шум что невозможно было спать. Постельное белье было грязное. Мебель была ужасно старая.
Great spot in Taksim. Location is 10/10, walking distance to everything but not noisy. Reception was super nice and welcoming, always there if we needed anything. Room was comfortable and well-stocked. Would stay again.
