Presidio- non- acknowledgement of confirmed booking.
Pros:

I can't comment on what I liked about this property as our booking had seemingly been cancelled before we arrived, despite having email.confirmations from the property. I didn't therefore stay here.

Cons:

Despite having 2x email confirmation of the booking, we were told on arrival there was no evidence of our booking and the property was fully booked leaving us with nowhere to stay.

As per the property details, check in is until 22.00hrs. We tried to contact the property by phone earlier in the afternoon to inform them it would be nearer 21.00hrs when we arrived. No one answered the phone despite several attempts. We left a voicemail message. On arrival to the property at 21.00 hrs the office was closed with no one on site. After several phone calls we got through to someone who said she only dealt with out of hours arrivals and as we didn't have a booking she couldn't help. We ended up ringing around properties in the area to try and find somewhere for a party of 5, which we did eventually but at a greater cost. I would not recommend this property due to apparent change of booking with no communication.

It was ok. I would not recommend or stay there again.
Pros:

Location was conveniently close to our event

Cons:

Check in was delayed by an hour due to a locked and unstaffed front desk.
There were 9 people waiting to check in and there was no response to our calls and emails to the hotel.

Hotel is outdated and in need of refurbishing. $300 a night for a “budget” hotel isn’t worth it.

Cons:

The clerk could not find our reservation. I showed him the reservation/ confirmation number and he still could not find it. He wanted me to call Booking. Com. He finally found it under my husband's first name! His demeanor was aloof. Facility was motel'ish, will definitely NOT stay there again. The room was hot and the AC loud and not cool.

Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The design is absolutely beautiful and very stylish, making the whole place feel unique and luxurious.
Everything was spotless and very well maintained. The staff were friendly, professional, and always responded quickly to any requests we had.
The pool area is beautiful, with a relaxing atmosphere and a great space to unwind. The bed was extremely comfortable, and we also appreciated the attention to detail—small touches like the high-quality soap, shampoo, and body lotion made our stay even more enjoyable.
We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Amazing, totally would recommend!!
Pros:

Perfect location at the top of state street, nice walk all the way down to the beach. Facilities are mostly renovated and everything was so so so clean and cozy and amazing bathroom with shower.
There was also some cuttlery for your coffee and breakfast.

Cons:

Maybe AC was not the best, a bit smelly, filters should be changed.
