Smell in the drainage in the bathroom, chickens are too loud early in the morning, the housekeeper is not cleaning the rooms very well like the utensils are not clean.
I had a fantastic time at the blue. Nook always did well cleaning my room when needed and never disappointed.

Only one key for two adults
Had to call reception to come and get the Internet on the telly every single day and the phone Internet cut off every single day also. Having to keep getting reception to open the lower door when I went out because I had to leave my partner with the key in the room was told only allowed one key.

Great location with everything easily accessible. The pool was a standout and definitely one of the highlights of the stay. The room size was perfect for a couple, offering plenty of space to relax comfortably.
I have stayed at The Blue over the past three years, however unfortunately I’ve noticed a steady decline in the overall experience during that time.
Staff interactions with guests have become noticeably less welcoming compared to my earlier stays in 2023. In addition, the general upkeep of the facilities has deteriorated. The gym, which I occasionally used for cardio during poor weather, was not well maintained and appeared unclean, with equipment in need of proper cleaning.
Another concern was the enforcement of hotel rules. Guests were permitted to smoke in the pool area, including cigarette and marijuana use, despite signage indicating restrictions. At the same time, guests were strictly warned about bringing outside food and threatened with fines for doing so. This inconsistency in rule enforcement was frustrating, particularly as it affected the comfort of other guests. When raising concerns about smoking, there was little to no response from staff, and it occasionally led to tension with other guests.
The pool area also felt more crowded than in previous years, with a number of visitors who did not appear to be staying in the main building. This changed the atmosphere significantly and made the space feel less exclusive than before.
Room cleanliness was also not to the standard I had experienced in earlier stays, and noise between rooms was quite noticeable due to thin walls.
Finally, there was confusion and disagreement at checkout regarding charges. I had pre-paid for an airport transfer and provided proof of payment; however, this was initially charged again at check-out. This, combined with earlier issues around the airport pickup not being properly organised on arrival, led to a frustrating end to the stay.
Overall, this visit did not reflect the standard I had previously associated with the hotel, and I would be hesitant to book again in its current condition.
Rooftop pool with a bar is the best part. Generally rooms are clean, and location is great very close to Fighters street.
