Great location in the heart of montpellier. However, your website stated Parking, which there is, but we only found out AFTER booking, there was a £15 per night extra charge. This should be clearly stated before booking. Hotel was very busy, with a varied age group, facilities very good with a bar and restaurant on hand. Fitness suite and a hairdressers on site too. Room size was good, beds were comfy but the pillows really need replacing. Cheap pillows that flatten quickly, giving no support. The bathroom was snug, with a walk in shower, no bath tub. Our room faced the back of the hotel, so was relatively quiet, until at 11pm someone decided to begin hammering, and drilling which went on for around 40minutes.
Breakfast, there was a great selection, from continental to full English, cereals yoghurt and fresh fruits.
The bedroom was very hot! We had to ask for an electric fan to cool down, and as previously mentioned the pillows need upgrading. But apart from that, yes we would stay again. All in all a beautiful place with plenty going on.
Brilliant location
Car park was quite expensive
Lovely hotel good parking, within easy reach of shops/bars/restaurants, great facilities on site. Room was spacious and had lots of extras in room or available from reception.
Central position in the town. Good breakfast.
Room was tired and shabby. Bathroom tiny. Our Room was above the outside tables of pub, so noisy with people drinking and loud talking. Parking expensive and very tight on spaces with posts making it harder. and then difficult steps down to reception. No where to pull up to offload luggage had space in car park, not been available
A great balance of price and comfort
Lovely hote, comfy bedl and nice size room
Cooked in the room overnight. Windows only opened a small amount which wouldn't have been a problem if we had a fan but there were none available. I think we were over the kitchen which didn't help, I could feel the heat through the carpet.
Location, clean quiet room, great restaurant
The size of the room an furnishings
Occasional tables next to the chairs. A larger shower and wash basin. A shelf in the shower to stand shampoo, soap etc.
Location excellent for the centre of Harrogate
Room adequate, but one big defect
Breakfast good, choice reasonable
No air conditioning in a heat wave, sash window opening restricted
Parking charges £15 per night
Evening meals mediocre, but good restaurants nearby
No lounge area apart from the bar, not really a hotel, more a pub
Lovely hotel and very clean with helpful staff.
Very hot on 3rd floor and fan wasn’t great. Shower wasn’t very good and could go with updating but I’d still stay again.
Yes very good but the room was small for a double bed and couldn't open windows wide
Double room but small got a bit to warm
Great location, nice people, off street parking and top breakfast. The Fat Badger bar as part of the hotel is outstanding too!
N/A
Excellent location in the town centre, great restaurant and pub on-site which we used for both dinner and breakfast.
It would have been nice to have the cost of parking included without extra charge.
The location is fabulous. The Fat Badger and outdoor beer area is brilliant. Breakfast food and choice were excellent.
Breakfast staff are slightly over eager to clear plates when you are not quite finished.
The location is absolutely ideal for walking around the town. The hotel has a good sized car park at the back. Excellent bar with plenty of atmosphere. The breakfast was delicious with enough choice. Our room was a bit basic but perfectly adequate and spotless.
There wasn’t really anything to dislike.
