Awful breakfast cold and hard bacon rock solid hash browns and very disappointed with it
Everything was bad
The small bathroom
N/A - we didn't eat - but the room was very acceptable!
Nowt! All OK.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and were very impressed with everything. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. One of the highlights was the beautiful sea view, which made our experience even more special. Overall, everything was excellent, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and enjoyable stay.
Staff were friendly, Showers were lovely and was a perfect location as we had our wedding party in the building next to the hotel.
Considering we paid for one of the most expensive options, the sea view room, it was not worth the cost in my opinion. Yes the view was lovely, but the other cheaper rooms had bigger windows, some had baths and were overall bigger rooms than ours. Our window was small and it was a shame as it was high up and in an awkward place to try and enjoy the view.
It was very warm in our room and we couldn’t change the aircon, big fans are provided but ours was too loud that you couldn’t sleep with it on.
Some of the cushion seemed old
as it was hit and miss with having lumpy ones, not comfortable to sleep on.
Also, an alarm went off around 7:30am on Saturday, I’m not sure if this is a fire alarm test?!
Nice sea view room and good breakfast. Bar staff very pleasant.
We have visited Llandudno Bay Hotel before and were very impressed. We felt that standards had slipped a bit this time. We found long black hairs on our bedding. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable and the bathroom had quite an unpleasant smell. We had a great room with sea views the only problem was residents drinking a lot which resulted in a lot of shouting in the outdoor seating area below our room. It went on until 2pm. The hotel offered a late check out to compensate but we just wanted to leave. All in all disappointed with our stay this time.
Staff were wonderfully polite and smart, the Hotel was very clean, the room was cozy with a very comfortable bed and a sea view.
It's a dog friendly Hotel, and there were lots of them, which wasnt a problem until 7AM when there was a dog howling in the room next door for 20 mins until the owner finally took it out for a pee. This was in no way a fault of the hotel, and I suppose no different to a crying child. Just a tad annoying as I was looking forward to a well earned lie-in.
Great sea view room, comfy bed and friendly staff.
Staff amazing lovely hotel and amazing views very clean food amazing
The accommodations offer exceptional views, and the restaurant provides outstanding culinary experiences. The hotel maintains a high standard of cleanliness throughout, and the staff are remarkably attentive. Each room is comprehensively equipped with amenities such as an iron, ironing board, tea and coffee facilities, a smart TV, and Wi-Fi.
I want to highlight the kind gentleman on Reception on Wednesday night on 3rd June.
Not only did he greet me at the front door when I arrived just before midnight, I was able to get a drink from the bar.
Thanks.
The location was good and the staff very helpful. The breakfast was good with lots of choices
Our room was very small with a small toilet and shower fine for a one night but not suitable for a four night stay for part of our stay there was an intermittent hum from an external electrical motor which made sleep difficult the reception staff were not particularly helpful in dealing with this it was three days before an electrician arrived to deal with the issue. The bar was quite nice but there was no seating available in the early evening due to being used as restaurant seating you had to order drinks and sit in the guest lounge which usually had two or three dogs and there owners in residence I don't like or dislike dogs but surely there should be a separate space where dogs and owners can enjoy a drink.
The location was good, and the lounge was comfortable. The staff were friendly.
The room was very small and awkward to get into as i had a tiny elderly yorkie. I paid ( £30) extra for him, and navigating his pram was difficult . The single beds were also very small, and the view from the room was awful, looking onto a shabby backyard. The windows didn't open, it was disappointing.
The room facilities for a superior sea view room are excellent including a very large Smart TV a fridge and a bath. Even a telescope! All the staff including cleaners reception and restaurant were so friendly and helpful. The food was excellent.
The only disappointing thing was that I discovered in discussion with my companion who was in the next room that she had paid £70 less than me for our 2 night stay.
Clean and well positioned.
