Pros:

Location. Food on site. Nice staff. Parking.

Cons:

There was no mini fridge for drinks, no air con but was offered a fan, there was wifi but this didn't work in the room which staff did tell us about. There was no phone in the room to call reception. Cleaning was a little slap dash but clean towels were always available.

Comfortable stay
Pros:

Exceptionally friendly and informative welcome. Big, clean room, comfortable bed.

Cons:

Generally a bit dated and tatty round the edges, e.g. chipped enamel in the bath, stained carpet, chipped paint. I was prepared for this and thought the room was totally fine. It didn't feel like good value for money though.

Great for one night, a means to an end for us.
Pros:

I booked as it was convenient for us for the one night, I did book the cheapest room so I got what we expected, it was a bit tied looking and basic but did us for the one night, used literally to sleep in, wouldn’t book this room if I was staying for longer.

Cons:

The room was very basic and just looked “old”

Nice location, decent size room and staff were lovely

Cons:

The room was very very hot and stuffy. No air con or fan in the room.
Very basic accommodation which is need of updating. Bathroom had signs of mould.

Good for what we needed, but probably wouldn't use again due to a poor night's sleep.
Pros:

Friendly staff, and loved the bar erea.

Cons:

We found the bed hard and the pillows very thin.
The room was super hot and we was only told we could have had a fan when we checked out.
Didn't get much sleep due to this

Wouldn't return not value for money
Pros:

The bedrooms was big & Tapas was good.

Cons:

No WIFI in bedroom. Bedroom too hot couldn't open windows as broken latches, No fan provided - extremely difficult to sleep the room was so hot. Limescale and damaged bath in dated bathroom, shower off of taps and went extremely hot and scalded skin. Dust under bed. Curtain rail had no ends so curtains fell off the end. couldn't sit by the lake as was a health hazard and had been sectioned off, the smell was disgusting. the water under the bridge is stagnant and toxic green. Very dated play area for children.

Wonderful stay
Pros:

Very friendly on arrival, clean room, simple clean bathroom. And only two minutes from town!

Cons:

Very hot (no fault of the hotel) ! Maybe have a table fan in the room or similar?
