Wir haben den Geburtstag meiner Frau dort genossen und waren glücklich 😊
Pros:

Liebenswürdiges Personal, aufmerksamer Gastgeber, tolles Essen, wunderbare Aussicht, ein wenig weg vom Trubel der Society Ascona etc., angenehme Atmosphäre, wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Badezimmer ein wenig klein, für korpulentere Menschen ist die Dusche zu klein, aber es gibt auch Zimmer mit Wanne…

Cons:

Leider, leider, der zuweilen „grausame“ Strassenlärm, da die Hauptstrasse Richtung Brissago/Italien genau unter dem Haus durchführt und einige es nicht lassen können, ihre Maschinen (Auto und Motorrad) hörbar zu präsentieren, eben auch des Nachts. Für diese Umstände kann jedoch das Hotel nichts dafür.

Pros:

Magnifique vue sur le lac. Personnel très sympathique et accueillant. Superbe terrasse pour le petit déjeuner, ainsi que pour le repas du soir. Tous les repas de la demi-pension étaient très bons.
Chambre propre et bien équipée.
Piscine très appréciée après une journée de visite de la région.

Cons:

Mauvaise isolation phonique entre les chambres.

Pros:

Great hotel... beautifully maintained, incredible location with wonderful views overlooking Lake Maggiore. Wonderful staff, great restaurant, beautiful pool and outdoor spaces, including dining terrace. Highly recommend. Easy access to Locarno via 15 minute bus that stops just below the hotel. Peaceful compared to busy Locarno.

Cons:

My single room was good, but windows were below ground level, so all I saw was an old retaining wall.

Doppelzimmer mit Seeblick
Pros:

Sind bereits das zweite Mal hier. Toller Pool mit Blick auf Berge und den Lago Maggiore. Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer im 2. Stock mit schönem Blick auf den See vom Balkon aus. Privater Strandabschnitt ist auch sehr schön.
Bushaltestelle direkt am Hotel,so dass man das Auto stehen lassen kann,wenn man nach Brissago,Ascona oder Locarno möchte.
Essen und Getränke sind sehr gut im hoteleigenen Restaurant. Personal sehr freundlich zuvorkommend und gut gelaunt.

Die Ausstattung ist zwar schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen,vor allem das Bad ist recht klein. Aber alles dabei was wir brauchten inkl Safe. Das Hotel sagte uns auch, dass die Renovation bereits geplant sei.

Cons:

Etwas unterhalb des Hotels läuft die Straße längs. Meinen Freund und mich hat das jetzt aber nicht allzu sehr gestört,abends gab es auch kaum Verkehr.

Die Lage und der Ausblick auf den See ist kaum zu übertreffen - einfach traumhaft
Pros:

Reichhaltiges Frühstück, Servierdame hatte alles sehr gut im Überblick, wenn etwas ausging, wurde es sofort nachgefüllt. Auch der Chef war zwischenzeitlich anwesend. Das gesamte Personal ist sehr freundlich und geprägt von einer familiären Atmosphäre. Grosser Pool mit schöner Liegewiese und traumhafter Blick auf den See. Das Abendessen war lecker.

Cons:

Die Zimmer waren eher etwas spartanisch, doch jeden Tag wurde sehr sauber alles wieder hergerichtet mit sauberen Badetüchern. Die Nasszellen waren alt - da wäre ein Facelifting sehr angebracht, doch wie bereits gesagt, alles war sehr sauber.

Das Hotel war wirklich sauber und gepflegt, ist aber schon deutlich in die Jahre gekommen. Besonders das Bad sollte dringend renoviert werden.

Pros:

Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und sehr fein. Die Lage sehr schön. Direkt am Lago Maggiore mit Blick auf die Brissago Inseln. Da das Hotel etwas erhöht ist. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Cons:

Die Bettdecke war etwas zu dünn. Habe dies aber am Morgen an der Reception mitgeteilt.
