Hotel Britannia

The staff were all amazing, friendly and could not do enough to help. The hotel was so spotlessly clean.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience at Hotel Britannia! Not only was the property beautiful and the rooms were very generously sized, and was exceptionally clean. Great location, and very easy to navigate the beautiful area. But the concierge and staff at the hotel were by far one of the best parts of our trip. So welcoming and always trying to go above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and had the best possible time! An extra special thank you to Giuseppe and the entire staff during our stay!!!

Lovely staff, beautiful terrace which was quiet, we had it to ourselves quite often with the most beautiful views only a 10 minute walk to the main Sorrento town. Breakfast was great and again never overcrowded!

We returned for the second time, stayed 10 days 2 years ago, this time stayed 2 weeks as we love it here so much! The owner Stefano and his son Guiseppe are two of the nicest people you could meet, nothing is too much trouble and we were welcomed like old friends, so lovely! Also the reception staff Andrea, Michela and Tonino are wonderful and so helpful. The kitchen staff also wonderful, I miss everyone already so much! The hotel is spotlessly clean, lovely rooms, loved the jacuzzi pool on the gorgeous roof terrace, which overlooks the sea and Mount Vesuvius. We were very lucky both times to have a room with a beautiful private terrace and balcony. Really made the holiday. We loved our walks down to the town, wonderful sea views on the way, about 10-15 minute walk. There is also a bus that stops at the hotel, we got that a couple of times when tired after a day out. The hotel also arranges fab trips that you can book through them. This was an extra special holiday for us as I was very ill last year and didn’t dream I would have a holiday again so as soon as I had the all clear we booked to stay at Hotel Britannia straight away! We never go on holiday to the same place again but we really wanted to come back to this wonderful place and make memories once again…. Hope to see you all again one day!

The staff could not have been more helpful. There is a shuttle bus that picks you up right in front every half hour or so to get downtown. Walking to the main center is easy and takes about 15 minutes. Crossing the street is a bit sketchy as traffic comes fast and there’s no sidewalk for the first quarter of a mile.

Recently returned from a lovely week at this hotel. A good position about 15 mins walk into town. This is via a main road which for a short way has no pavement. Safest way is to walk facing the oncoming traffic and they seem to be used to pedestrians in the road. Once in the town great restaurants, bars and shops. The staff at this hotel are so helpful, especially all on reception. The 2 lovely ladies at breakfast looked after us well with great cappuccino. Room was good, clean and everything we needed. Shower small but worked well. We enjoyed pre dinner drinks from the bar sitting on the pretty terrace under the lemon trees. The 5th floor accommodates a sun terrace and jacuzzi. There is actually enough space for a pool which would be a welcime bonus. We had an enjoyable stay, only down side was the busy road and traffic which is nothing to do with hotel. Inside our room we could not hear the traffic and we slept really well in a very comfy bed.

We had a wonderful stay for our honeymoon! A short 10 minute walk into the town centre with a gorgeous view of sorrento, there is also a bus stop outside the front door and taxis available within 5 minutes.
The staff were all so kind and helpful, giving recommendations and happy to help with any request or questions we had. Rooms were clean and spacious and the view from the rooftop was just beautiful!
Would highly recommend!

We had a great stay highlighted by the friendly services of all staff including, Giuseppe and Stefano. The atmosphere and decor are reminiscent of a traditional Italian home with the colourful ceramics. Very clean and staff were always trying to make our stay better. Good gym!!! We will definitely return.

+ and the staff were very friendly. Gave a navigation-info. However, they didn't mention anything about the rooftop or the view), and it would be nice to be offered help with the elevator upon checkout.

Die Lage ist top! Bushaltestelle vor der Tür, wenn man die stark befahrene Küstenstraße nicht zu Fuß gehen möchte. Das Hotel sieht schön aus und hat einen Jacuzzi am Dach. Parkplatz fürs Auto auf Anfrage vor der Haustüre. Sehr nettes Personal, hilfsbereit und eine Hotelbar gibt es auch! Es ist auch sehr sauber.
