Hôtel vétuste, avec de la moisissure dans l'encadrement des fenêtres et de la moquette trouée
Manque de prestation pour un hôtel : pas de wifi dans les chambres, uniquement dans le hall, pas de lit refait sans qu'on le demande.
Alors que j'avais bien spécifié que nous étions trois adultes, l'un de nous a dormi sur un lit d'appoint qui mesurait moins de 1.7m
Personnel peu aimable
Petit déjeuner : à moitié entre le buffet avec peu de choix et un service assiette, qui prend énormément de temps à être servi
Location was good. Reasonable size room.
The hotel was very tired and seemed to be a time capsule from the 1970s. Quite dark and dingy.
Location was perfect
My room was appalling. Dirty, dusty, broken light switch. It looks like the hotel has had some renovations but there’s still some rooms that look like they haven’t been touched since the 70s. My room was on the third floor, with two velux windows, blinds broken on both. One covered in stains.

The hotel is seriously neglected, curtains and furniture are dirty, wall and window painting peeling off. The breakfast selection is poor, the eggs Benedict is incorrectly made. The car park is unacceptable.
Overall it was seriously depressing

Location amazing
Beds super uncomfortable springs in your back. no mobile reception in the room, no wifi in the room, tv barely worked signal was very bad, this room felt like 1985 was the last update, owners need to spend some money
Excellent central but quiet location. Breakfast good and efficiently served although expensive at £17.
Room basic for the price charged. Dark; only window one with frosted glass. Ventilation system in bathroom not working. Desk drawer broken. No daily room servicing and when a clean requested after five nights, not undertaken.
It was central to eating facilities and shops.
It was very shabby. When we arrived there was a dirty beer glass on the window outside the lift which wasn’t lifted and an empty moth repellent packet was in the stairwell for 2 days. In the car park our car was filthy from the nearby seagulls nesting nearby.
The location of this hotel is ideal in the centre of Stirling, with many things easy walking distance. I was able to park in the hotel's car park (Booking.com states that this can be reserved but it cannot). The room, bathroom and shower were all a good size.
The hotel WiFi only worked in one part of my third floor room and that was very intermittent. It is an older hotel and the walls are quite thin - this wasn't a huge issue for me but I can see how it could be in some instances.
