Rooms need updating.
Our tea and coffee in the room had one milk upon arrival, upon asking for more (long life) milk was told there wasn't any but I could have fresh milk. This was fine but when I was told the same the next day it was not great. I don't normally use milk that has been left out all night to make my tea. There were no fridges.
Rooms weren't automatically made up / serviced each day. I don't pay to stay in a hotel and then expect to make my own bed. The front desk staff forgot to explain to me that I needed to ask for my room to be serviced.

Nothing really, there was no milk or loo roll in the room when we arrived, but these were quickly provided when we highlighted to reception!

There’s not many hotels in Stirling to choose from. I’m not keen on traditional hotels. Paid £160 just for room - room was on top floor, heating was unbearable.

The room was really bad.

- I booked the room on Thursday 4th, on Booking.com but when I arrived the reception staff didn't have my booking and had to find it on the Booking.com system, I must have been lucky that a room was even available for me. Not a great start.

- The room (101) looked like it had been neglected for quite a while and hadn't changed in 50+ years

- The decor was tired and old with brown lacquered furniture.

- There was no 'Welcome' pack or hotel information.

- No phone

- I was unable to sleep due to the radiator being set to maximum which made the room unbearable in the middle of the night. I was told by the night porter that the heating was turned off. Please look into this as the radiator was 100% on and pumping out heat.

- The mattress was rock solid with no give at all and very uncomfortable.

- The pillows were the thinnest I have ever seen with no fluff or give. I needed 3 just so my head had some level of support. Absolutely no comfort at all.

- Dust was clumped together and hanging from the ceiling everywhere but worryingly also directly above the bed.

- The shower head was clogged with limescale, which is a health hazard and potential risk of bacterial growth which could cause serious issues.

- The walls were covered in stains and questionable brown smears.

- Clearly the room has not been cleaned for quite some time.

- The water from the sink was scaling hot even when the tap position was central. Another major health hazard. There was also no caution signs for 'very hot water' which is a against HSE guidelines for the temperature the TMV was set to.

- There was no phone signal in the room and the Wi-Fi didn't reach into the room either so I couldn't access the internet or make any phone calls or messages.

- The TV was switched off at the plug which I had to find to turn on. The TV itself was tiny and only a digital aerial connection with very poor signal.

Nada que comentar.

Uncomfortable bed and room was hot.

Deberían de poner un cartel más grande o más visible para el parking, está un poco difícil de encontrar.

Det var en vond lukt i gangene og på rommet var det forferdelig varmt ,fikk en vifte etterhvert som hjalp litt.
Ved frokost ble vi skikkelig skuffet ,tomt for egg og eggerøre ,baconet var kokt!selv om vi sa i fra til personalet så kom det ikke påfyll ,så det ble toast med smør ,vi ble nå mette av det!

Firstly I paid an additional £100+ on arrival for a superior room, which we found small, hot, stuffy and not serviced. The wardrobe had only 3 hangers to share between my wife and myself. The general guest public areas were tired and in need of renewal.
