I was very unwell when i arrived , and spent 4 days in bed...
The Hotel staff were so accomadating..
Could not recommend them any more highly.

Pros:

Great place on the water and across from the park. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, if a little old. Breakfast was good, although the juices tasted highly diluted. Would recommend as a great place to stay.

Central location and just outside the galle face green next to the sea

Cons:

It’s not Old or traditional furnitures, but just outdated and worn out. Bare minimum for a 5 Star rating hotel where you won’t get even a pair of bath slippers 🥿 or an amenity kit.

Pros:

This hotel was an incredible experience. It is a living museum and the staff are wonderful. This hotel is elegant and timeless with all the facilities of a 5 star hotel. The daily historical tour is not to be missed. I would love the chance to stay here again.

Pros:

El desayuno fue muy bueno, mucha variedad de comida, la ubicación esta muy bien.
El personal muy amable y disfrutamos mucho nuestra estancia en el hotel.

Cons:

Me gustaria que tengan una opcion de pileta mas acorde para niños. no pudimos usar la piscina porque era demasiada profunda para niños, tampoco cuenta con ningun parque de juegos para chicos.
Otra cosa en la carta de precios de los restaurantes no esta incluido el valor final con todos los taxes incluidos seria mucho mejor.

Regret not staying longer- will definitely revisit!

Everything! It’s history, the staff, food, location.
Staff that were exceptional: Harry showed me around the museum and Hotel. Dinush, Ivoni, Ranjith and Ajoual all very welcoming and accommodating

Cons:

My room was in a location where music was playing most of the night- which made for not a very restful night.
