This is a modernized 19th century hotel located on the main street and right in the middle of he tourist area.
The hotel has a bar and restaurant and outdoor patio facing the main street. The rooms have a small kitchenette which is a nice plus.
One of the two glasses in the kitchenette had a a long crack in it. Very noisy plumbing noise from the main stack.
The staff were super friendly, the location is great, but the room was super old and not even a place for putting things or a chair to sit. Maybe more expensive rooms are different. Was weird to have a sink in the room and not in the bathroom.

David went way above and beyond the call of duty! We were stranded about 10 miles from the hotel at near midnight. David came to our rescue.
The restaurant was not open for breakfast.

Room was expensive for standard
The room size was a bit of a concern. A friend ( single) we were travelling with room was larger than ours ( a couple) and was the same price.
It was well placed in the middle of Water street. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Wish the tv was a smart tv so we could cast from our phones or iPad. Breakfast would have been nice to have but I understand that staffing is an issue and it is late in the season. Perhaps a list of available locations for breakfast spots available as it was difficult to find…first day of school so many family own businesses were closed
The location was fantastic!
The rooms look like they were updated sometime in the 1970's, and haven't been touched since. Thin walls (the person snoring loudly next door sounded like they were in our room), chipped paint, old dirty carpets, run down feel. Had a hard time to understand the check-in person due to their thick Indian accent.
Rooms are old and could be modernized.

Great location within a few minutes walk of some nice restaurants and pubs along the water. Clean rooms and comfortable sleep. It is an old motel with unique stairway and room layouts, which made it unique and enjoyable.
The sink is in the room, but outside of the bathroom, just part of the old design, no big deal if you’re alone.

Nobody was at the reception desk when we arrived but quickly came over from the bar area once they noticed we were standing at the counter.
I booked a queen suite and ended up with a double room. It was clean and comfortable and for only one night so it wasn’t enough to make a complaint.
It would be very convenient if the location offered breakfast. There is only one family owned place for breakfast and another small coffee/bagel/muffin place in town.
