Insgesamt ein sehr schönes, modernes Hotel in perfekter Lage
Pros:

Das Wellton Riga Hotel & SPA liegt mitten in der Altstadt und damit für eine Städtereise wirklich perfekt. Wir waren als Familie in einer Suite im Dachgeschoss. Die beiden Zimmer waren durch eine Tür voneinander getrennt, was mit Kindern sehr angenehm war. Alles wirkte sehr modern und offensichtlich frisch renoviert. Besonders das Badezimmer hat uns gefallen, mit einer großen Dusche und insgesamt sehr schöner Ausstattung. Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich und wirklich sehr gut. Lediglich Frischkäse, zum Beispiel Philadelphia, hat uns gefehlt. Die Lage ist ein weiterer großer Pluspunkt. Innerhalb von etwa 10 Minuten erreicht man praktisch alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß. Auch die Bar war ganz nett. Dass sich der Frühstücksraum im Keller befindet, würde ich dagegen überhaupt nicht als Nachteil sehen. Wir sind mitten in der Altstadt und da nehme ich persönlich lieber einen Frühstücksraum im Keller als Abgase und Verkehr direkt vor dem Fenster.

Cons:

Der größte Nachteil ist eindeutig die Parkplatzsituation. Das Hotel selbst hat keine eigenen Parkplätze, deshalb sollte man sich vorher unbedingt informieren, wo man in der Nähe parken kann. Wir haben uns für ein EuroPark Parkhaus etwa 10 Minuten nördlich des Hotels in der Nähe des schwed. Tors entschieden und damit eine sehr gute Wahl getroffen. Von dort konnten wir direkt durch die Stadt zum Hotel laufen und mussten das Gepäck nicht erst durch den Verkehr transportieren. Abgesehen von der Parkplatzsuche haben wir aber nichts wirklich Negatives erlebt. Insgesamt ein sehr schönes, modernes Hotel in perfekter Lage für eine Städtereise. Gerade mit Familie ist die Suite eine gute Lösung und wir würden das Hotel bei einem weiteren Riga Besuch wieder in Betracht ziehen. Den Bahnhof in der Nähe (das Bremsen der Züge) hat man in der Nacht doch ab und zu gehört.

Sänkyjen etujalkojen tilalla oli pyörät, oletettavasti siivouksen takia.
Oli kuitenkin määrättömän ärsyttävää että sängyt liikkuivat sinne tänne aina kun meni sänkyyn tai nousi siitä.

Pros:

The location of the hotel is top. Unfortunately, we couldn't get a proper night's sleep.

Trams pass right under the hotel and the noise from the tracks combined with the heavy road traffic is quite loud. The room's soundproofing isn't great due to the glass exterior, and even using the provided earplugs didn't help much. Great place if you don't mind ambient city noise at night.

Отличное расположение, хороший отель, красивый и уютный номер, замечательный сервис. Отдельная благодарность Инге, которая делает всё, чтобы у гостей остались только положительные впечатления.

Cons:

Слишком строгая система бронирования СПА. Хотелось бы иметь возможность посетить его в более позднее время, например после прогулки по городу.

Verkehrsverbindungen.

Cons:

Beim betreten des hotels bekommt man (vor allem allergiker)Atemnot. Es stinkt nach Reinigungsmittel, bis zum umfallen das haben wir von mehreren Gästen auch mitbekommen und selber auch als unzumutbar empfunden.

Decent value and location but too many hotel restrictions

Cons:

Restrictions on when to use the SPA, have to book separately to use the pool, limited time there, limited time of operations if there is a kid. Room not available for 1.5 hrs after the check in time and no communication from concierge.
