Lovely setting and attentive staff
Could have been cleaner. Had to move rooms due to cobwebs, live spiders in the shower and hair still on duvet. Second room was much smaller with TV that didn't work properly and it was not serviced ready for our second morning.
The. setting.
Bed and pillows too hard. Chaotic breakfast. The staff seemed surprised by how busy it was but should surely have been aware of how many guests they had staying with them!
Great scenery, architecture and backdrop. Breakfast was great too
What a treat to stay at a classic manor house steeped in centuries of history. The rooms and grounds are really well kept and full of detail. Loved having the informational booklet in the room to tell the story of the estate. Recommended as a reasonably priced manor house stay. Staff was generous and friendly!
The food was just ok.
Amazing
This place was amazing. It’s a magnificent heritage property with history and grandeur. Beautiful grounds to stroll around and a delicious restaurant on site.
Beautiful location
Excellent period property, fabulous grounds and quality evening meal and breakfast.
N/A
The food and service was excellent and the breakfast was particularly good. The stable rooms weren't as comfy as the main house, but still pretty good.
Stable room not as comfy as the main house.
Beautiful grounds and lovely main hotel
It was boiling hot with the heating that wouldn’t go down and the only thing on offer in the room was a fan. So it meant I didn’t sleep well the whole night.
rien
Beautiful old building with lots of character, history and fabulous grounds. Good breakfast in a delightful garden restaurant.
We were staying there for a wedding which was perfectly executed by the hotel and staff.
