Really great location next to the station and also close to the main city
Rooms were a little basic but still really all you need
Staff are very professional and friendly. Location is great for station and trams to stadium and arena concerts. Second stay in last 3 months for concerts. Probably wouldn’t book anywhere else as this hotel is great. Good AC in room as it was quite warm last night
Nothing it’s just perfect
Location
The inexperienced staff appalling,, little concern or knowledge and lack of sympathy for my daughter and 7 others who were trapped in one of the lifts for over 40 minutes ,,, staff members were insisting they could not ring the fire brigade until they put a call in for a service engineer and had to give them time to get in touch hotel policy apparently ,,, meanwhile my daughter is having a panic attack , another person male an asthma attack and and a young lady was type 1 diabetes , I rang the fire service as could not stand the thought of everyone in this horrific situation and not to mention I was going through feeling helpless in a situation I could not help with as a parent you want to protect your own , the fire brigade attended within minutes and confirmed they had had a call out previously to the same lift , some 30 minutes later trying to get the lift doors open the fireman confirmed the lift had a faulty mechanism this should have been logged as a serious incident yet when asked reception they did not appear to have an incident / accident book which is appalling for a hotel brand of this size , lack of training and health and safety procedures need immediate attention to avoid this unnecessary situation occurring again I shall be putting an official complaint in to say we are and all those involved were traumatised to say the least
I picked this hotel as it was very close to the Station and the Metrolink was in the Station which we needed to go to The Etihad Stadium to see, with many thousands!!! Take That.
I cannot honestly say I found anything I didn’t like. We came by train from Nottingham, enjoyed the journey with no stress parking, the hotel is very modern and the staff were very attentive and helpful as we left our bags twice whilst we went out Friday and today and we picked them up just prior to going for our train. The was a good selection of breakfast items all very nicely displayed, beds were comfortable, bathroom beautiful. It was well worth the cost
