Lithos by Spyros & Flora

Lithos by the Sea was a dream, the hotel owners and managers Marina and Mario went above and beyond for us, we couldn’t have felt more looked after and welcomed into the Lithos family. They are truly special humans. They imparted their local knowledge and recommendations, so we really got the most out of our stay and helped us figure out what to do and when, without them we would’ve missed so many treasured experiences.

The hotel itself is spotless with contemporary with chic architecture and interiors. Our room was perfect, I went on the holiday with a friend and we had a suite with two bathrooms and a sofa bed so could spread out across the two rooms, and we also had a kitchenette and enjoyed a homemade breakfast on our balcony with a view of the pool and sea.

The pool area has a view of the sea with a pool that is great for cooling off and having a quick swim and also has one of my non negotiables a pool bar, I loved the Coconut Crush smoothie! Mykonos is generally very expensive with pricey beach sun beds, so it was a relief to have a hotel with a lovely pool area to enjoy on some days.

In terms of the local area the beach club Hippie Fish has a Greek night on Sunday which was so much fun and the food is really tasty but their sun beds are expensive so recommend Kalon next door for a cheaper alternative for day time local beach days. Ornos is the closest area that is the place to go for the supermarket, sea taxi, bakeries etc. Further afield, the beaches on the south are a must visit along with the beach clubs for some evening fun, and go explore the town and a must do is the boat excursion to Delos and Rhenia.

Marios & Marina were the best hosts you could wish for, nothing was too much trouble and they made our stay really enjoyable. The place was spotlessly clean. They recommended places to go and they didn’t disappoint. Made us feel like part of the family ❤️

Location is great. Quiet and peaceful but not so far from ornos or the Mykonos town. Bus stop right outside takes you to the town in 15 mins max. Beaches right near the property.

Absolutely everything, we booked a standard studio and got a free upgrade to a studio with a sea view. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. They went above and beyond, it was one of the girls birthdays and they bought a cake for us and brought this to the room. They were very helpful explaining everything in the area including how to access public transport.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. Mario’s and Marina have created something truly special in this hotel. The room was spacious, very clean with a gorgeous sea view. Staff were friendly, helpful and so attentive. The ambience and vibe was lovely and both Mario’s and his lovely wife Marina went out of their way to share information about the island, best places to eat, excellent excursions and all of these proved correct. We felt the places they recommended to eat were excellent and good quality for money.
I can honestly say this has been a wonderful experience and I can’t wait to come back to this hotel. Thank you Mario’s and Marina and all of your fabulous staff, especially Farhat!

Alles war fantastisch. Die Gastgeber Marina & Marios waren extrem freundlich, nett, witzig und bemüht. Es begann schon bei der Ankunft. Marina hat sich erstmal mit uns an einen Tisch gesetzt, uns mit Getränken versorgt und einen Überblick über die Insel gegeben.
Im Hotel gab es ständig Wasser ohne Zusatzkosten. Sobald man sein Glas leer hatte wurde es direkt wieder aufgefüllt.
Die Unterkunft war super schön. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Die Lage war top. Vom Pool aus hat man einen wunderschönen Bock aus Meer, auch von fast allen Zimmern. In 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreicht man einen wunderschönen kleinen Strand, am dem man den Sonnenuntergang perfekt und vollständig genießen kann.
Schöne kleine Strände mit Bars / Restaurants sind in weniger als 5 Minuten erreichbar.
Eine Einkaufsmöglichkeit und Restaurants in unterschiedlistchen Preisklassen gibt es in unmittelbarer Nähe. (Normal - high end)
Direkt vor dem Hotel ist ein Bus Stop. Von hier aus kommt man sehr schnell direkt nach Mykonos (Stadt).
Die Preise im Hotel sind für Mykonos wirklich fair.

Everyone was genuinely kind and friendly. A special thank you to Mr. Marios for his care. The hotel's attention to detail was impeccable.

La zona de pileta y desayunador sublime. Los dueños, Mario y Marina son lo más cálidos y expeditivos en explicarte todas las recomendaciones de la zona (traslados, restaurantes, playas.... lo que imagines! Con mapa marcando absolutamente todo)
El desayuno... que decir?! No se lo pierdan!!!!!!! Exquisito!!!! Abundante!!! Sirve de almuerzo.

What a find this hotel is. I was so excited to visit not just Mykonos but this highly rated hotel, I swear by trip advisor and to find somewhere so well reviewed continuously seemed too good to be true. After a week’s stay I can confirm it is definitely not too good to be true. Lithos is fantastic from start to finish. Marina and Marios are so welcoming, you feel comfortable from the minute you arrive. They are kind, caring, helpful and just such lovely people who really care about every aspect of your stay and experience of Mykonos.
Lithos is a beautiful property that is so well maintained.
The location in my opinion is fabulous, There is a wonderful beach across the road, a couple of restaurants within walking distance, a little shop a stone throw away, a small beach slightly further down the road where locals go to watch sunset and the bus stop is literally outside the hotel entrance.
Special thanks to the very small team that Marina and Marios employ, you work fabulously together.

Bellissima struttura con vista mare e con colazione bordo piscina. Comodissima fermata del bus per il centro a soli 2 euro da pagare sopra il bus( pur avendo la macchina è stato comodissimo).
Tutto suggerito da Mario e Maria i proprietari carini i , disponibili, gentili in generale , ma anche quando abbiamo avuto un problema per la partenza.
La macchina ce la hanno prenotata loro e fatta portare all’albergo e poi lasciare in aereoporto.

couldn't have asked for a better stay!! felt looked after the entire time, staff are extremely attentive, not to mention the amazing location, lovely view, very clean rooms, great room/pool service food options... the list could go on. very deserving of the good reviews already listed. you'll likely not find a better spot in Mykonos, especially for the price! recommend 100%.

We had the most incredible stay at Lithos by Spyros & Flora, and it’s all thanks to the truly exceptional care and warmth shown by the owners, Marina and Marios. From the moment we booked, they went above and beyond to make our trip seamless and special. Marina gave us the most thorough and thoughtful overview of Mykonos—her insights made exploring the island so much easier and more enjoyable. She truly cared about every detail of our experience, and it showed.

The rooms were not only extremely comfortable but spotlessly clean every single day. We especially loved relaxing on our balcony with its stunning view—a perfect way to start and end each day. And breakfast by the pool was a highlight: delicious, fresh, and served in such a beautiful setting.

But what really made this stay unforgettable was the warmth of the entire team. Everyone we met was genuinely kind, attentive, and welcoming. We truly felt like part of the family, and leaving was the hardest part.

Absolutely wonderful hotel, the owners Marina & Marios have created something very unique & truly special indeed. The room was bright & clean & spacious with stunning views of the pool, sea & Delos. I travelled alone and have never felt so safe, my holiday felt all the more relaxing & enjoyable, Nothing was too much trouble from booking trips, taxis, restaurants to beach recommendations, they really are incredibly helpful, staff were all so friendly, especially Farhat. Cannot wait to return.
