Cons:

Stay was bad. Room service wasn't available despite asking for it on multiple occasion. Window sill was broken and sharp. Toilet was disgusting.

Not bad, but more problems than expected for the amount of money
Pros:

Breakfast was good, the room was clean. Good place to lay your head.

Cons:

We have stayed in downtown Chicago many times and never stayed anywhere where there was so much street noise. It sounded like people were drag racing every night. Maybe the hotel can’t do anything about that, but it puts us off staying there. Housekeeping was every other day, although you could get your towels refreshed every day. That was good, because there were not enough towel racks or hooks to hang towels for a family of four. There was a lack of clarity about accessing the valet parking, so I had an unnecessary parking charge while we were checking in.

Great location near downtown sites and transportation. Decent breakfast.

Cons:

Older property, so a little cramped and no on site parking. Daily parking fee is quite steep.

Excellent location to explore Chicago downtown, take cruises and enjoy the riverwalk.
Pros:

Location: Excellent. Close to everything - Riverwalk, Wrigley Building, Tribune Tower, Magnificient Mile, Millenium Park and the Cruise Piers.
Breakfast: A big plus.
Tea/coffee: Always available in the lobby
Staff: Frontdesk staff were prompt and helpful.
Heritage building: The old motor club (AAA) building. We saw multiple tour guides bringing people to the lobby to show them around.

Cons:

The room did not have big bay windows so there was limited natural light. The restroom was not the best and it needed deeper cleaning. In general, the housekeeping can be improved.
