Pros:

Some areas were very tastefully decorated maybe the areas which had been recently done

Cons:

Very over priced for what the hotel is, its definitely not a 5*. Maybe it will be after all the the renovations are finished.
The spa area is way too small to accommodate all the guests.
Breakfast itself was nice but guesrs were constantly having to ask for cups abd glasses! very disappointing

Our bathroom was very small in comparison to the room itself and the shower had mould on tray which i could clean off with my nails. Definitely not 5* standard

Pros:

Location

Cons:

2330 hours fire alarm, 1 hour of flashing light in the room from the alarm, no information as to why I had to evacuate my room at 2330hrs,!!!!!!
Nonoutdoor hot tubs, very dated outside area, views on the carpark/building materials storage area.

Not worth £366 for a nights stay
Pros:

Pulled to the front of the hotel people smoking and vaping at the entrance, even though there's a prohibition sign .Its speedy road so opted to park in the rear car park .the area was a construction site ,like a bus mans holiday as I'm a bricky. The hotel looked tired and worn out as has been under renovation since 2025 .outside area hot tub in bits so no go area .
The reception was nice ,the room we had was ready and was beautiful, but no radiator working .
Pool, sauna and steam room were awesome....complimentry due to build works ....I wouldn't have booked hotel if ordinarily a cost incuoured .
Staff were Brilliant, dinner was nice .
At breakfast there were no salt n pepper, no cups,no glasses for drinks .the tables were just left full of dishes and not cleared .i don't mind roughing it as ive had me sandwich in portacabins for 50 years with scruffy builders ,rats ,breaking wind scaffs ,smoking ,drinking etc.
This hotel should have been closed for renovation ...not somewhere to put the trades between jobs and bad weather
