Clean, simple, neighborhood hotel.
Pros:

Very friendly staff and great neighborhood location. Very comfy beds. Super easy access to take the bus to downtown or walk to everything within 30 min. Clean and efficient and comparatively cost effective for Edinburgh.

Cons:

Hot in the room when we were there during the heat wave and the window faced the sun, felt like an oven. Staff lent us a fan from the kitchen that helped. No breakfast, very easy to hop on the bus to many choices downtown.

A la mañana siguiente de mi llegada me obligaron repentinamente a cambiar de habitación sin previo aviso ni una explicación adecuada. La nueva habitación era considerablemente más pequeña, peor iluminada y claramente inferior a la que había reservado originalmente.

Debido a la presión y al apuro con el cambio, dejé accidentalmente algunas de mis pertenencias en la habitación original. Cuando me di cuenta el día del check-out, el personal no ofreció absolutamente ninguna ayuda real para recuperarlas, alegando que “no querían molestar” a los huéspedes por los que me habían cambiado de habitación. Como resultado, mis pertenencias se perdieron.

Lo que empeoró aún más la situación fue la actitud del personal durante toda la estancia. Fue evidente que algunos huéspedes eran tratados como más importantes que otros, y me hicieron sentir como un huésped de segunda clase de principio a fin.

Gestión desorganizada, cero empatía y un servicio al cliente verdaderamente deplorable. Aconsejo completamente no reservar en este hotel bajo ninguna circunstancia.

Reasonable, good location, nice staff
Pros:

Good location for buses in and out of the city centre and to Musselburgh.
Pleasant staff.

Cons:

Bed very soft and not comfortable.
Room small for two people. Couldn't open the curtains as on ground level and no net curtains or blinds for privacy.
No milk provided for the tea and coffee.

3 hlö huone oli todella tilava. Huone oli siisti, vuoteet mukavia, kahvin- ja teenkeittomahdollisuus plussaa. Patteri auttoi lämmityksessä hyvin. Sijainti oli hyvä, läheinen Haymarket josta hyvät juna- ja bussiyhteydet. Hyvä tietää, että hotellin alakerrassa sijaitsee pub, josta varsinkin jalkapallo otteluiden aikaan tulee meteliä. Huoneeseen melua kuului jonkun verran, minua se ei häirinnyt, ja meteli loppui hyvissä ajoin.

Cons:

En saanut jätettyä matkatavaroita säilytykseen, vaikka se olisi pitänyt olla mahdollista. Ymmärsin kyllä syyn, tärkeä jalkapallo-ottelu oli samaan aikaan.
