The hot wTer/coffee could be warmer throughout the day. By afternoon it was not that hot.

Website not updated; Our reservation was made using hotel info listed on Booking.com; no room service; (*that was not indicated) location not the best; description said free shuttle available to ballpark for guests; That was main reason for booking, due to our age/mobility & health issues; No shuttle from hotel; Was told we would have to walk down the street to Paulie's Pub and to get on the shuttle we had to purchase 2 drinks ea., which cost $17 for 1 coke and 3 bottled waters, which we then had to lug around all day because I could only have a clear bag w/dimensions of 9x5x2". We could have driven our car to the bar, but then it would have been left unattended in a not so great neighborhood for several hours. Also, they still have on their site that guests are required to wear masks in public areas.
Apparently, the Hotel is now under new ownership, so I sent a detailed letter to the Corporate offices with my complaint.
I was told that because I made my reservation through Booking.com (which I have used for years exclusively, with no issues), they were not responsible because Booking.com gave the wrong info. My argument is, Booking.com would have to receive the updates from the Hotel. Needless to say, we will never stay at Hampton Inn again, because we had a bad experience several years ago in another Hampton Inn.
Breakfast was very good. Lots of choices. Great dark roast coffee.
The staff was nice, clean rooms, convenient location for Wisconsin state fair.
They were using the parking lot as paid overflow from state fair. It made it hard to park.

It was close to our event and the breakfast is great
That I had our room back for a few months and the front desk couldn't find our reservation from booking.com so they finally found it but told us that our room I booked with two queen beds isn't available to us. They only had one room left with a king and pull out bed that was very uncomfortable. This was awful to have us in this room after I booked it in advance.
Front desk receptionist - first point of contact/checking in process. Really did set the tone for our stay. Even with being busy on the phone and being on the call longer than she may have expected, she showed patience with the guest on call. She was attentive and prompt with checking me in and kindly welcomed my stay here with a smile. Checking out- front desk receptionist was attentive and verified all info. Friendly and thanked me for my stay.
BIG SHOUTOUT to kitchen staff for the breakfast Yukon potatoes, because they were some of the best breakfast potatoes I've had at a hotel! Seasoned and cooked so well! Food was replenished and served hot.
Big parking lot and enough parking. Location of hotel was good too.

Wisconsin State Fair weekend, they were swamped but took time with each guest to try to help guest with any request. The front desk may not been able to fulfill the request at least they try.
We were going to a Brewers game and they offered a shuttle.
The free breakfast was sub par. The towels were well used and the paper goods thin
