Séjour au top, si nous repassons par Azay, nous y retournerons très certainement.
Pros:

Hôtel situé à 2 pas du château dans une rue animée. Notre chambre était petite mais confortable. Elle donnait sur un petit balcon sur cour. Nous avons dormi la fenêtre ouverte sans un bruit. Petit dej super !!!

Cons:

Petit bémol sur la Clim pas très puissante : la chambre était à 26 au moment du coucher malgré le fonctionnement de celle-ci pendant plusieurs heures.

Fabulous hotel in great location and
Pros:

Everything. Our room, though a modest "comfort double", had everything we could wish for: spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and pillows, pristine bathroom and tranquility beyond compare.
There was an attractive lounge available to us and breakfast was excellent in quality and variety.
The staff couldn't have been more helpful, polite or friendly.
I can't recommend this wonderful hotel too highly.

Nothing. It was perfect.

Pros:

Der Kontakt zum Hotel war bereits beim Buchungszeitpunkt super sympathisch und freundlich. Wir haben uns schon im Voraus sehr auf den Aufenthalt in dieser alten Schule gefreut und viel Liebe zum Detail vorgefunden. Die Unterkunft ist außerordentlich sauber und die Zimmer sehr gemütlich und modern gestaltet. Das Frühstück haben wir mit den lokalen Produkten "im grünen Schulhof" sehr genossen. Die ruhige Lage mitten in der Fußgängerzone kurz vor den Toren des Schlosses ist einfach toll. Für die E-Bikes ist mit Stellplatz und Ladenmöglichkeit umfassend gesorgt. Wir sagen nochmals ganz herzlich MERCI für diese schönen Urlaubstage in Azay-le-Rideau!

Très bonne situation près du château. Chambre au calme, petite mais cosy.
Pros:

L'hôtel est situé tout près du château. La chambre était jolie et climatisée. Très calme.

Cons:

La chambre était très petite et comme elle était située sous le toit, une partie se trouvait sous la charpente en pente. Il fallait faire attention de ne pas se cogner pour sortir du lit. Plusieurs étages devaient être gravis par les escaliers avec les bagages.

Charming small family run hotel in the historic centre of Azay le Rideau.
Pros:

Lovely old building in the centre of Azay le Rideau very close to the chateau, with lots of restaurants near by. Charming courtyard garden where you can have breakfast. Air conditioning was very welcome in the hot weather. The proprietors were charming and helpful.

It was all great.

Airconditioned und gute lage

Cons:

Das Personal hat die klare Instruktionen für Gäste kein Taxi zu bestellen und am Morgen keinen Espresso zu machen. Gastfreundschaft sieht anders aus.
