Pros:

The staff were really friendly .. stayed there 5 nights and the room wasn't cleaned at all even after I put the clean my room sign outside the door ..

The bed was really soft and the mattress was past it's amount of usable years and needed replacing

At nearly £60 per night I thought was expensive .. the following week they wanted £90 a night .. decided against it

Cons:

The room wasn't cleaned in 5 nights of stay .

The bed too soft

No fridge ..

Expensive

Pros:

Staff at check-in very informative.

Cons:

TV did not work and when you are a hotel at a motorway service station, that is quite important.

Bedding not great either, covers not good at covering duvet and pillows inside.

Bloody inconvenient
Pros:

Macdobalds breakfoast or Costa niether were great options

Cons:

Not getting a parking fine would have made the stay better and not having to spend 2 hours trying to sort it out and getting nowhere I can't find a telephone number that works or an emails address to try and rectify this £60 fine overall making it a very expensive one night stay

Good location, room too hot, check-in horrific
Pros:

Very good location, surprisingly quiet given the proximity to the major road, room was clean

Cons:

The check-in was a nightmare. The receptionist denied that we had booked two double rooms. She was adamant we had only booked one and she only had one. Saying things like ‘booking.com do this all the time’ ‘the booking reference won’t make any difference’. It turned out she was only checking by one surname, she refused to check anything other than the surname of the person who booked and the surnames were different for the second room. It was 10.45pm at night we were exhausted after a ferry crossing back the UK we had paid for two double rooms and she was saying we only had one. She also said if we didn’t want to all share the one room we would have to find somewhere else. She just stated that we would need to contact booking.com for a refund. We really thought at gone 11pm we were going to have to drive away and find somewhere else to stay. She said it happened twice the day before and she did it to us - how many people is she doing this to? Other than the check-in the other issues were that the room door did not lock I could only use the extra security latch. It didn’t bother me as a male traveller but a single female traveller may have felt unsafe being unable to lock the door properly. One of the two bed side lights didn’t work. Room was hot, 25 degrees overnight, but a fan was provided.

Average on this occasion due to room location.
Pros:

Convenient. Excellent staff.

Cons:

My room was extremely noisy on this occasion. The window had to be open due to the extreme heat, but the traffic noise made it hard to sleep.

Comfortable as usual.
Pros:

The lady on reception was SO helpful as I am disabled and although it was hot, she helped me to my room.
I rang the panic button whilst reaching for the light switch in the dark and the response was good especially as it was 1.10am.

Cons:

Higher bed.

If it is less than £50 then expect the quality to be the same, anymore it’s an insult..
Pros:

It was conveniently located and had a reasonable size TV..

Cons:

Scruffy, out dated, no A/C although a dirty noisy fan was available to use - just a cash cow for the owners!

Excellent stay.
Pros:

Good price for clean bedroom. The decoration is tired snd it looks less clean than it is. Not nice room for family and wife. Easy parking. Flexible checkin.

Cons:

I should have seen it was north and I wanted south. Could be faster checkin via phone, app, web site. There is no road connecting north and south.

Good stopover. Located at the motorway services and therefore convenient to use the facilities there.
Pros:

Convenient stopover travelling North. Helpful staff.

Cons:

A bit dated. We stayed in the disabled room, which was spacious and quiet, but really needs a walk in shower. The bathroom is crying out for modernisation.

Great stop-over a convenient break in a journey
Pros:

Very pleasant, helpful reception & got a nice smile & “hello” from the cleaner in the morning, so great staff attitude. Very convenient for stop-over, breaking a long journey, with a choice of meal sources. Nice to have a bath, bed was comfortable

Cons:

Just a little on the ‘tired’ side re carpet & decorating but perfectly adequate for price & overnight stay
