Sehr schönes Hotel

Sehr, sehr dchönes Hotel mit sehr sauberem privatem Strand. Freundliches Personal und das Frühstück war auch sehr gut. Alle waren sehr bemüht, um es dem Gast so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Jederzeit zum Weiterempfehlen

Very comfortable beds, great restaurant. Location more than a walk from main Unawatuna.
Pros:

The bed and pillows were the most comfortable in all of the 9 locations we stayed at in Sri Lanka. The rooms facilities were also sensational with a huge bathroom and jacuzzi and indoor couches. The restaurant was great with plenty to choose from. Staff were very attentive and always welcoming.

Cons:

It was tropical storms for about 90% of the three days we spent here. It meant the outdoor furniture on the deck were somewhat unusable due to them being wet from with the rain or sea water (wet salty feeling) and the aluminum awnings were loud from the constant waterfall from the room above. Our laundry was also late by 12 hours from what was promised. The location is ok, with no nearby rated restaurants or other amenities. Will require a tuk tuk ride to central Unawatuna for shopping or eateries.

La localisation directement sur la page est superbe mais c’est vraiment le personnel qui fait tout le charme de l’hôtel, ils ont été superbes et si il fallait y retourner ce serait avant tout pour leur gentillesse… Ils nous ont apprit le cinghalais, conseillé sur les meilleures excursions à faire aux alentours et ont même pu nous organiser un safari. Nous n’étions censées rester que 2 jours mais avons prolonger de 3, nous avons été gentiment surclassées; les chambres étaient très propres avec vue sur la mer et jacuzzi…vraiment parfait !

Absolutely fantastic
Pros:

Cocobay was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome. Our room was amazing, it was big and comfortable, with a beautiful view and a great jacuzzi. They provided beds for both of our girls.

The food was so delicious. We had booked half board which included dinner - a generous and delicious 5 course meal each night. I ate some of the best fish ever.

We celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary during our stay and the staff went out of their way to make it truly special, we had our bed set up, our dinner table set up and a delicious cake delivered to us. It was so special.

The staff were attentive, kind and accommodating. We enjoyed playing pool as a family and although we had rain every day, our girls had a swim in their pool.

Cocobay is absolutely amazing. We would recommend it to anyone and should we ever visit the area again, we will most definitely come back.
Our only regret, is that we didn't stay another night.

Pros:

Strávili jsme zde 3 noci a s pobytem jsme byli opravdu spokojeni. Pokoje jsou krásné, čisté a mají úžasný výhled na moře. Jídlo bylo naprosto fantastické a personál byl po celou dobu pobytu velmi milý, ochotný a usměvavý.

Hotel je jen kousek od nádherné pláže Jungle Beach, která se nám moc líbila a rozhodně stojí za návštěvu.

Děkujeme za příjemný pobyt. Budeme na něj rádi vzpomínat a pokud se někdy vrátíme na Srí Lanku, moc rádi se ubytujeme znovu.
