Stay away from this hotel!
The location of the hotel is different from what booking.com shows you: not in the center of town, but far outside without infrastructure and only expensive taxis.
The a/c in most rooms does not work, I had to change the room 3 times. One is very moldy, the mosquito net has only holes and is too small for the bed.
I wanted to pay in the local currency, because my card did not work in Burundi. Neither booking.com nor the hotel told me before arrival that I can not pay in local currency.
Jay, one of the owners, insisted on USdollars. He threatened me, " if you do not pay in USdollars, you will miss your flight tomorrow..."
It took me a whole day at the bank to get some cash advance in USdollars from home. ..

Staff were very friendly and helpful.
For breakfast was just basics.
There is nice pool outside.
Room is quite big and comfortable.
There was fridge and TV in the room, but plug was not compatible with socket.
There was powerage shortage for whole night and whole day, so the A/C was not working and was so hot in the room during the night.
The customer service was really good, very friendly staff. The hotel is in a quiet and in a safe neighbourhood. Very affordable too. The rooms are spacious and clean. I got free airport pick up and on time.
It’s a bit uphill from city centre. Thank you for meeting me at the airport and helping to find a tour guide to explore Burundi!

I planned to pay by credit card, however this was not working and I had to pay in cash which was limited on me

The staff and Management team were very helpful and looked after me as being a solo traveler and first time Burundi .
Clean and tidy and a great swimming pool , great food and cold beer.
