Convenient stay for 1 night
Pros:

Comfortable room and all was very clean.

Cons:

Neu renoviertes, schönes Hotel direkt am Rhein. An heißen Tage fehlt noch eine Klimaanalage.
Pros:

Es liegt direkt am Rhein, und die Innenstadt ist Fußläufig zu erreichen.

Cons:

Parkmöglichkeiten waren öffentlicih und beschränkt

Avoid if possible
Pros:

The location is great. That is the only positive thing.

Cons:

The rooms are not particularly clean or new. If you have allergies you definitely need to avoid this Hotel.
The Staff, although friendly, are not particularly confident or knowledgeable and there are clear language barriers in both English and German.
The breakfast is about as cheap and low quality as it gets. The coffee machine would be ok, if the staff knew how to set it up while I was there (they did not).
If possible this Hotel should be avoided. There are much better in Andernach for marginally higher prices.

The hotel was clean and functional but lacked character
Pros:

It was clean and functional

Cons:

Characterless rooms - nothing like the outside.
Neither of us slept well in the narrow single beds.
No tea/coffee in the room.
Staff were a bit dismissive on arrival and got the room service order wrong and insisted on cash at the door. Not the friendly, small hotel we were expecting

Velos konnten sicher verstaut werden

Cons:

Zimmer nicht sauber: der Teppich hat wohl seit Monaten keinen Staubsauger mehr gesehen (Steinchen, Wachs, Plastikteile usw. usw.) - ecklig.
