The Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore

This hotel was a GEM! We absolutely LOVED our stay. From the moment we were greeted, to seeing our stunning room, to the breakfast, to the afternoon tea...to the incredible staff!
David was amazing...so friendly, professional and he went out of his way for us. David along with Jocelyn are GREAT ASSETS to The Capitol Kempinski.

The hotel is fantastic. Efficient, detail-oriented and personalized service without getting intrusive. Could check in in the morning after an overnight flight which was incredible.

The help and service from the staff was exceptional. The location is excellent and is fast and convenient to get Grab or Taxi to places around Singapore. Breakfast at the 15 Stamford Restaurant had a lot of options and was very good. The Capitol Cigar and Whisky Lounge is conveniently located on the property and is one of the best places in Singapore to relax, unwind and enjoy a fine Cuban cigar and a Scotch Whisky.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was outstanding, and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. The hotel offers a sense of luxury, with high-quality furniture and elegant décor throughout. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. In addition, the location is excellent and conveniently situated close to many attractions and services. I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again.

We had a 2‑night stay at The Capitol Kempinski Singapore, and it was honestly a luxuriously comfortable experience from start to finish. The location is spot on. You’re right in the middle of everything, which made getting around Singapore really easy. No long commutes, no hassle. We stayed as a family of four, and both rooms were well set up for that. The mini bar being fully stocked with drinks was an unexpected hit with the kids, so that scored instant points. What really stood out, though, was the subtle, bespoke luxury in everything. Nothing felt over the top or flashy, but every detail had that polished “Kempinski” touch that just makes you feel well looked after.

The heritage building itself is beautiful and adds a lot of character. It doesn’t feel like a generic luxury hotel. There’s a sense of history to it, which makes the stay feel a bit more special.
Breakfast was a highlight. Instead of the usual buffet overload, a lot of items are cooked fresh to order, which makes a big difference in quality. Room service was excellent as well. Quick, efficient, and exactly what you’d expect from a hotel at this level. Reception was smooth and professional, no hiccups anywhere.
Hard to fault anything, really. It’s one of those stays where everything just works the way it should.
We’d definitely stay here again the next time we’re in Singapore.

Look no further than The Capitol Kempinski Singapore 5-star luxury heritage landmark Hotel. If we could give more than five stars we would! The amazing Kempinski in the heart of Singapore’s Cultural and Civic District makes it so accessible to get anywhere one might want to explore. From the moment we arrived until we checked out, we felt an overwhelming warmth, kindness, professionalism, grace and overall desire from the staff to make sure our stay was what we would describe as the ultimate luxurious experience from a fine hotel and resort.

It would be impossible to thank every staff member we encountered for their wonderful hospitality. Mr. Andras Biro, GM at the Kempinski, greeted us warmly and whenever he saw us wanted to make sure we were enjoying our stay. Jocelyn, the front office manager, always had a smile, and she along with whichever concierge was on duty always made sure we were able to navigate the area with ease. Another highlight was Jocelyn giving us a peak into the must see and legendary Capitol Theatre. Shoban (the Food & Beverage Director) took much pride in making sure we were enjoying our delicious meals and the wonderfully curated and not to be missed afternoon tea. Do make sure to make a reservation for the best and most elegant culinary treat! David is another exceptionally kind man who truly made our stay at the Kempinski so memorable and we so much enjoyed and appreciated hearing about the history of the hotel from him. David made sure we could navigate the sheltered underground access to the City Hall MRT interchange adjacent to the hotel which makes the Kempinski so accessible to all that Singapore has to offer.

The Kempinski is simply gorgeous—the Art Deco elegance with perfectly maintained original rich dark chocolate woods and marble combined with contemporary design and furnishings are to be enjoyed throughout the entire hotel including our spacious and beautifully appointed room. Our spectacular "Deluxe Grand Room” was state of the art with 2- very large closets (2- cozy robes hanging to use during your stay) and slippers. The 2- very large windows had multiple window treatments to set the mood and were remotely controlled to accommodate your desired ambiance. The comfortable seating was abundant and inviting and the very large modern bathtub and large shower were so inviting.

The elegant modern charm of 15 Stamford Restaurant is where we had the most delicious meals. The menu is extensive and simply culinary excellence. The dining room is adorned with an ornate stained-glass ceiling, wrought iron and intricate Venetian filigrees that are beautifully placed throughout the room and are authentic remnants of the original architecture of this most elegant historic hotel. In our opinion, our stay at the Singapore Kempinski was simply perfection from our experience with the hotel staff to the beauty and elegance of this most wonderful hotel—our stay was simply divine!

While having traveled with our dear friends and booking 2-rooms we celebrated 2 of our birthdays. The Kempinski made sure our birthday celebration was extra special and a memory we will always
treasure. Having traveled extensively over the years, we believe that our spectacular stay at the Capitol Kempinski Singapore will forever be one of our top all-time favorites and our only choice when we return to Singapore.
