Desde que llegamos al hotel las instalaciones nos parecieron increíbles, con mucho contacto con la naturaleza y ambiente relante, perfecto para descansar y pasar tiempo en pareja. Definitivamente me volvería a hospedar en el hotel.

Amazing property with only 14 rooms which feels very secluded and relaxing. The heated swimming pool and jacuzzi are amazing. Given the location, it is possible to spot animals on the grounds. There’s a night walk every night to see frogs and sometimes snakes. All the staff, especially Cristel, were amazing and booked tours for us. The hotel’s restaurant is also very good!

The hotel was beautiful, clean, with great access to the waterfall and the staff were wonderful and so helpful. Kevin gave great recommendations for places to eat nearby and his night tour of the hotel wildlife was such a fun bonus! Antonio at breakfast was so hospitable and Manuel is a good cook. I really enjoyed my avocado toast. Would definitely stay again!

El servicio y desayuno es bueno

We enjoyed very much our stay at Ti-fakara. The room, the swimming pool, jacuzzi, ping-pong table, game of billards. Our breakfast was delicious. You have a mix of buffet (fruit, yoghurt,juices... plus à la carte : salmon bagels, avocado toast, pancakes... a lot of choices. Antonio Mesera and chef Griselda made our breakfast being an enjoyable moment. Always ready to serve us with the highest standards. The burger for lunch was also a great choice. In the evening, we were also extremely well served by Chichi and Charlie. The tropical tuna is definitely a must-try! You can also enjoy good music from guest artists while eating delicious food. I wish they would sell a book with the recipes of the Bosquet restaurant dishes. The Coquito and cacique cocktails were so good that you felt immediately being on holidays. All the staff wants to make you feel welcome and special, which is highly appreciated. I highly recommend this hotel for the location, the high-quality and delicious food at the Bosque restaurant, great rooms with amazing view and above all for the amazing staff working there. We will definitely come back !

Beautiful property gorgeous rooms. I liked the fact that it wasn't a massive hotel since is a very touristy area.

Las mejores habitaciones, las mejores instalaciones, el paisajismo, la iluminación, la decoración. TODO es de 10! Supera las expectativas. Aún con todo eso, la atención del personal es lo mejor, las personas en la recepción y en el restaurante fueron excepcionales, amables y simpáticos.

This hotel blew us away. We wanted to stay in a place that was nicer since we were in CR to celebrate our honeymoon, and nice doesn't even begin to describe this wonderful hotel. Every single worker was friendly and helpful, the housekeeping team made us cute towel animals (and kept the room pristine), and the view from our room was to die for. I mentioned to the staff that my husband's birthday was the following day and not only did the housekeeping team make him a little towel monkey, but also a towel birthday cake! Esther also drew him a little monkey on a birthday card! We loved the location-VERY close to La Fortuna waterfall and removed enough that it was quiet at night. The pool and hot tubs were lovely, and I believe we used them every single day. It was the perfect spot to relax after going on fun adventures in the morning. Another amenity we enjoyed was the night tour that they offer their guests. Dilan took us on our tour and he was very knowledgeable about the different species we saw and heard throughout the property. He also gets bonus points because he was very patient with the kids who joined the tour, even though they kept shining their lights right in his eyes haha. We also have to shoutout Kevin, who also works at the front desk-thank you for your help! The waitstaff in the restaurant were very sweet and brought us champagne to celebrate our honeymoon, even though we hadn't mentioned it. Its clear that there is a very strong team working here to upkeep the property and care for the guests. I hope they all get paid highly because they deserve it! We would love to come back someday to celebrate one of our wedding anniversaries- till then Tifakara! -Beth & Bryndon

Das Hotel hat einen wunderbaren Blick auf den Vulkan, auch konnten wir vom Balkon aus Affen, Tucans, jede Menge Kolibris und sehr viele weitere Tiere beobachten. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr freundlich, herzlich und serviceorientiert. Es ist ein kleines Hotel, das keine Wünsche offen lässt.

Beautiful location, beautiful people, and beautiful accomodation. We loved everything about Tifakara. The rooms were modern, staff extremely helpful and friendly, and food really good. We loved the location. Highly recommend!!!
