Pros:

Staff were very helpful, in particular Virginia on Reception who was excellent as she helped us with various things including moving rooms and a memory foam topper for our bed which made it very comfortable.
Breakfast was very good. The Hotel pool is fairly small, but the Trefon has free use of a large pool and Beach Bar ( great food and drinks !) a short walk away by the beach.

Top tip - The Taverna ( Finikas ) opposite the Trefon is excellent. Great food and service.

Pros:

The people in the hotel are very nice, the apartment we rented was big and spacious and clean. The beach is close, when there's no wind it is really nice. When it's windy, the red flag is up, so it's not possible to swim. You should rent a car if you are driving for this case, and island is very nice so you should see more of it.
There is a really good Finikas taverna accros the road from the hotel and grocery shop is close just down to the main road.

Cons:

We didn't have nets on terrace doors and we couldn't keep mosquitos out, so they tortured us during the night.

Pros:

Grįžome čia antrąkart. Personalas nuostabus. Vieta gera, netoliese paplūdimio, parduotuvių ir kavinių. Baseinas šiltas ir švarus. Kambarys didelis, švarus. Erdvi terasa su gultais, tik vaizdas į automobilių aikštelę, gal norėtųsi daugiau privatumo, bet tai mums netrukdė. Labai patiko, kad šiemet davė baseino rankšluosčius. Labai gardūs pusryčiai, tik norėtųsi bent minimalaus pasirinkimo vaikams, pvz. blynelių.

A nice comfortable and friendly hotel in a great location
Pros:

Location in relation to the beach and main street is excellent. Bus stop to Rethymno is closeby also (which is a must for teens/young adults as there is not much in the locality for them)
The room is spacious for a family of 5 and is well equipped and serviced.
Staff are very nice and obliging.

Cons:

Shower needs a proper screen to stop water seeping onto the floor.
Balcony is really too narrow to comfortably sit a family of 5 to eat.
An extra door key would be good - security of key storage at reception a bit worrying.
Nothing to do with the hotel but be aware of the potential strong winds on this entire stretch of beach which cause strong undercurrents and led to a red flag 7 days out of our 11 days stay. A pity really because the water is beautiful!

Szczerze polecam ten hotel. Kameralny, spokojny, czysty. Personel bardzo pomocny.
Dla nas, którzy szukają spokoju i wypoczynku z dala od zgiełku, to idealne miejsce.
Blisko piękna, szeroka plaża. Oprócz tego, świetna baza wypadowa do zwiedzania.

Great place for a day or two . Friendly staff
Pros:

Quiet location, close to beach . It is very rocky so wear water shoes . Nice pool area , although we never used it . Had a lovely barbecue and dancers for the evening which was nice . Maria is very friendly . Had lots of parking

Cons:

No wifi in our room 269. Had to go to hall way to get wifi . Shower needs an upgrade the shower head kept falling down continuously . A little out dated the room but still cozy . Glass water bottle they gave us in fridge exploded and we had glass and water everywhere we had to clean up . Not a great view from our room as it over looks the roof of the bar mostly .
