Great staff who were very helpful!

Our stay here was amazing! The place is super cute and the grounds are beautiful. We had a very nice suite with a separate sitting room with a TV, a bedroom with a king size bed, a little kitchen area with a microwave, small refrigerator and sink and a very large bathroom with a huge tub. Rachel Constance, and Christopher at the front desk were so nice. They had delicious brownies at lunch which was a nice touch.. We also got invited to a sister property of theirs down the street where they had two guys playing guitars and cocktails with a fire pit pit. Nice to be within walking distance to everything in downtown Bar Harbor. Would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a really great place to stay in Bar Harbor.

The hubby and I enjoyed our week long stay. The king suite, which had a hideaway cottage vibe, was just what we needed following a day of exploring Acadia. Constance was extremely knowledgeable on the challenging hikes we were looking for with maps prepared for us each morning. She also recommended a bioluminescent kayak experience in Castine that was a thrilling experience! And Christopher knew all the best places to enjoy a great dining experience from lobster rolls and pizza to finer dining while in Bar Harbor. Highly recommend the BH Manor for anyone.

Last minute search for a reasonably priced room for one night lead us to Bar Harbor Manor. Super clean, comfortable property and staff is exceptional! Location is nice because it’s a little off the extra busy areas but still easy walking distance to Main St and the West St shops and restaurants. We would highly recommend a stay here!

From the moment we walked in the door and were greeted by Christopher we fell in love with this property. It is a short walk anywhere in Bar Harbor! The beds were very comfortable and we sat out on the balcony to have a drink before dinner. Christopher gave us great dinner recommendations and even made reservations. When he heard I was gluten free he gave me a gluten free cookie and said they had lots of gf options for breakfast! They did! Bobs Reed Mill oatmeal, Udis muffins, yogurt and fruit! We wish we could have stayed here longer.

Staff is very friendly and helpful with recommendations. Location is quiet and close walk to everything. Grab and go breakfast and all day coffee is a nice touch and convenient.

It was our first time in Bar Harbor and Christopher gave us so many great recommendations! Bar Harbor Manor has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere and the location is the perfect distance from everything! The room was very clean and we were able to park right by it which was a plus. We will definitely be back

We loved our comfortable and quiet stay at Bar Harbor Manor. From the sweet and informative greeting by Rachel at the front desk to the nice rooms to the walk ability and short drive to Acadia we would stay again!

Our stay at Bar Harbor Manor was perfect. Both Christopher and Rachel were great in recommending wonderful restaurants and making reservations for us.

We were there to celebrate a birthday and anniversary and they made it all that more enjoyable.

Also a great location for walks to downtown shopping, the town square and harbor.

Christopher and Rachel were both very professional and helpful with tips and recommendations. We were treated with courtesy which made me feel like family. Great location close to great restaurants and activities. Highly recommend and would love to come again. ❤️❤️❤️😁

Extremely clean, fresh, well maintained inn. Wonderful staff who knew Bar Harbor and Acadia well and were very informative in guiding us to activities. such as bike rentals, hikes, restaurants. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Christopher was kind enough to make us a homemade blueberry pie. What other hotel can you go to that would happen? He’s quite a cook. Room was great. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the value was spectacular.

We stayed in Bar Harbor Manor for several days in the middle of May 2026. We used Bar Harbor Manor as our "home base" for visiting both Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.

We had a wonderful experience there. The property overall was in great shape. We stayed in the hotel room, which was very clean and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable. There was parking on-site, which made it very convenient for us when we visited downtown Bar Harbor. I should also point out that the hotel was within walking distance of downtown Bar Harbor (about 10-15 minutes walk), but also just outside of the downtown enough that we could enjoy a more quiet atmosphere. A Hannaford supermarket is also a five minute walk away. Finally, Acadia National Park (Hulls Cove Visitor's Center) is a ten minute drive away.

The staff was very helpful and professional at check-in and check-out. The warm reception that we received from the staff made our stay at the hotel extra special. We really appreciated Rachel, who was so lovely and warm and worked so hard to ensure that we had the best time during our stay. Rachel recommended many trails, landmarks, and restaurants for us to visit (as well as taking the time to print out maps for us). Rachel was very professional, knowledgeable and always ready to help. She went out of her way to make our stay at Bar Harbor Manor very memorable.

Bar Harbor Manor provides a nice "grab and go" continental breakfast: Greek yogurt, breakfast bars, orange juice, bananas, tangerines, apples, muffins, coffee, and tea. The hotel also provided delicious brownies in the afternoon. The ice machine is well stocked with ice, and it located in a convenient location at the front.

Again, we are so grateful for our stay at the Bar Harbor Manor, and will absolutely come back for our next visit. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!

The room was clean and the location was extremely convenient! Just about a 10 minute walk to downtown area. This was my first solo trip so I was a little anxious traveling alone as a young woman, but the staff quickly put my angst at ease. Caroline gave me a warm welcome and even suggested some great hiking trails and tips for my trip. The place felt extremely safe! I will say the bolt lock on my hotel room didn’t lock but that’s an easy fix, even with only one lock working I still felt very safe there. Also the 24/7 coffee and tea was a nice touch especially with the early morning and late hikes in the cold!
