Sandhamn är alltid Sandhamn och som gammal seglare gillar jag miljön. Tyvärr blev det inte så bra just denna gång
Pros:

Jag fick en svit fast jag hade bokat ett hus. Sviten var fin med allehanda bekvämligheter som jag inte behövde.

Cons:

Eftersom jag hade bokat ett hus och då jag inte fick plats på midsommarlunchen hade jag förhört mig om det fast kylskåp där jag kunde ha min hemmalagade midsommarlunch. Jag fick svaret att det fanns kylskåp och matlagningsmöjligheter. Vilket såklart inte fannsi sviten. Jag lämnade därför ön tidigare än planerat.

The only complaint:
We were on the first floor and there was a distinct sulfur smell in our bathroom.. not certain if this is normal to the island?

MUST VISIT Hotel mit einigen Einschränkungen
Pros:

Das Haupthaus mit den Restaurants Bar und der Rezeption ist absolut ikonisch. Es ist DAS Hotel am Platz mit dem grossen Seglerhafen davor. Die Lage ist toll und es gibt immer etwas zum schauen. Das Essen und die Getränke sind hochklassig die Bedienung gut.
Die Anreise mit einem Kurschiff ist ein tolles Erlebnis.
Obwohl die Insel recht klein ist, ist die naturvielfältig. Einfach mal in den Wald abbiegen und die Insel erkunden.

Cons:

Alle Zimmer liegen in einem Anbau, von dem nur circa ein Viertel Meersicht hat. Ohne uns darauf aufmerksam zu machen, wurden die Zimmer nur alle drei Tage geputzt. Dies finden wir der Kategorie des Hotels nicht angemessen. Der Wellness und Gym-Bereich entspricht ebenfalls nicht dem Niveau des Hotels.

Beautiful hotel, avoid room 206 at all costs
Pros:

Our room was in the basement with a small window that opened far less than other rooms on our hallway (which we could see due to the cleaners' activity). The rooms looked newly renovated and the hallways smelled of fresh paint. The bathroom was very modern, clean, and well lit, though it lacked a fan. The hotel is very pretty with a gorgeous restaurant overlooking the harbor. The island itself is very small and quaint and feels like a bit of a storybook novel or tv show setting. The food at the hotel is great and the staff were really friendly and accommodating.

Cons:

Our window faced a small courtyard, was level with the ground, and opened exactly three inches but wouldn't stay open more than one, so we had no fresh air at all in our room which did not have any other kind of air circulation from a central unit or vent. It was very stuffy, despite being actually cold and rainy out, so much so that we could not sleep at all -- I literally had a sleepless night in this hotel. We had a fan but the entire outlet in the wall failed, causing the fan to turn off in the middle of the night, and the power did not return until late the next morning. I had a sleepless night in a place I specifically booked for acquiring deep rest and breathing ocean air, instead sleeping none and breathing hot stuffy air, which led to me getting laryngitis for the rest of my time in Sweden. If you can avoid this room and other rooms near it I suspect you may have a better stay.

とても素敵な立地のホテルでした
Pros:

朝食は種類が豊富でとても美味しかったです。目の前がマリーナになっていて、ホテル入口の景色がよかったです。

Cons:

ベットがもう少し固めだとよかったのですが、ちょっと寝にくかったです。部屋もグレードの低い部屋だったので少し狭めでした。また水着を持っていかなかったので、プールに入れなかったのが悔やまれます。

Pros:

Not worth the money. The island is amazing despite being in the off season, however the hotel leaves something to be desired. Most of the issue is the staff. They did not seem interested in helping, did not explain what was available at the hotel and overall were difficult to communicate with.

Cons:

Staff, some dates facilities. Value.

Fairytale Swedish archipelago hotel inspite of Booking screwing up
Pros:

We loved the hotel and staff was excellent, in spite of Booking screwing up again! Wonderful fairytale Swedish archipelago life.

Cons:

We had very bad surprise upon arrival we were told that we booked into the annex, some 5 min walk away into a little house which had nothing to do with the hotel! My confirmation with booking said apartment Seglarhotel! The very friendly staff gave us a room in the hotel for one night, they made every possible effort. Second night we had to go to the annex as hotel was fully booked.
