It was OK for a bed and a meal but any more than one night would have been a chore.
Pros:

Friendly, helpful staff and reasonably good evening meal. Room was clean.

Cons:

Very confusing roadway entrance but I suspect Mackay Airport was the culprit. Bed on roller coasters would move if you just sat on it. Small room space meant one side of the bed was just about touching a bedroom wall. Tired bathroom with broken seal on shower door. Inadequate car parking. The hotel car park was full returning from a night out so only space left was disabled parking which we told staff. They warned us our vehicle could be towed but they would validate us using the long-term airport car park. (Don't know what happened to the other 2 cars parked in disabled-park spaces.)

Pros:

You can hardly hear any noise from the airport. The external has great soundproofing.
Very easy access from the airport.

Cons:

The soundproofing between rooms could be better. Also there were some weird stains/marks on the toilet seat which were gross.
The rooms was pretty small. Not enough room for two suitcases.
