We loved the central location on the main Gatlinburg strip. It was a convenient walk to everything. The best breakfast ever that is free!!! The history of the hotel and the fact that there are still a lot of the original parts of the hotel left is very cool! We love learning the history of places and things. We have been going to Gatlinburg every year (sometimes twice a year) for 23 years now, and it never disappoints.

Cons:

The rooms could use a mini fridge and microwave. That's it.

Pros:

Obviously the rocking chairs are a huge hit on the front porch. The breakfast was great and the breakfast staff always met me with a smile and a friendly hello of a morning.
A charming place to kick your feet up and rest and relax. Had a wonderful stay.
