We would stay again!
Pros:

The location is wonderful, walking distance to most Gatlinburg attractions. Comfortable accommodations and very good breakfast. Loved the antique feel of the decorations.

Front desk people were great . Over all we had a great stay.

We stayed through the week. Checked out on Saturday. The breakfast was lacking through the weekdays. No options. One day eggs and sausage. That was it. Staff would sit behind the counter and carry on their conversations without acknowledging you were there. But Saturday was another story. Plenty of food . Bacon ,potatoes gravy and biscuits. Staff was friendly.

Pros:

The history of Gatlinburg Inn is amazing! The way they treated us like family, the entire facility has been kept as original looking as it can be. The staff are awesome! It felt like visiting family and grandma prepared breakfast daily.

Cons:

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Somewhere in time!
Pros:

The retro feel to this historical property was very interesting and nostalgic.The perfect location in central Gatlinburg to enjoy many restaurants, shops, and attractions. Excellent breakfast with a large dining area is icing on the cake.

Cons:

Adding a mini fridge would be convenient to keep water cold.

Bed bugs

Has bed bugs in Room #255 Gary the GM ask me to send medical documentation and I emailed along with pics of the bed bug bites.He never emailed or responded by email or phone. Just don’t want anyone to go through what we went through would never done this if we had got a courtesy call or email.

Put money back into the building!

Cons:

Bed was awful, needs some serious updating! No fridge, smells, tv is standard cable, sliding glass door for balcony didn't lock, there was literally a wooden bench attached to the wall in the room? If you are interested in reliving the 1940s this is for you. Will not stay here again. Nothing wrong with showing your history, but it is not comfortable at all!

Great historic inn in central Gatlinburg
Pros:

The rockers on the front porch were nice, we appreciate and used the washer and dryer, we especially were pleased the front desk staff allowed us to put items in your refrigerator/freezer. The front staff were always very helpful with answering our questions about the National Park etc.; and we LOVED our room location where we were conversing with people on the chair lift! We had a nice balcony to enjoy watching them go up the mountain. Also the lobby area has a grand room where we could sit and read or enjoy ourselves, very nicely decorated.

Cons:

Sometimes the rocking chairs were full!
