Excellent- would highly recommend!
Pros:

Beautiful location on the ocean and very close to Fort Louisbourg and the oldest lighthouse in Canada.

Cons:

It was beautiful and the dining room and music were one of the highlights of our trip- so much fun with everyone singing along. The food was very good!

Peaceful, comfortable, nice location but room description is not accurate.
Pros:

Room looked out over the ocean.
Could see the fortress of Louisbourg from the front window.
Very quiet and peaceful.
Had a nice dinner at the Bothy and met the owners, Colin and Justin.
Live entertainment the night we were there.
Nice breakfast at the smaller restaurant.

Cons:

The room was advertised as a one bedroom suite - it is not!
Any 1 bedroom suite we have ever stayed at has always had a separate bedroom.
This should have been advertised as a large room with 2 queens and kitchenette.
No USB plugs!
The hair dryer on the wall has been decommissioned with no note anywhere to tell you about the hairdryer under the sink.
Also, no note to tell you about the rubber bath mat under the sink. The bathtub is very slippery without it.
We only found out about the hairdryer and bath mat after talking to the owner after breakfast.

Pros:

Sehr schöne individuell gestaltete Zimmer. Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus. Sehr ruhige Lage am Meer. Gutes Restaurant. Reservation für das Nachtessen ist zu empfehlen. Der Frühstücksraum ist sehr schön gestaltet.

We had a fantastic stay at the North Star. This was our second time to be there.
Pros:

Beautiful ocean views! Rooms are clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Nice to have restaurant with great food right on property too!

Excellent Stay at North Star Beach Suites
Pros:

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is in a beautiful location, right on the water with excellent views of the harbour, lobster boats coming in and out as well as the Lousbourg Fortress. The room we had was very cool, it reminded us of a lighthouse as it had 6 sides facing out each with windows. The dinner at the Brothy was superb. Don't let the look of it from the outside fool you. Inside the decor is warm, very inviting and incredibly comfortable. The menu is large and our meals were just delicious. And we were served by Colin! Make sure you also enjoy their breakfast. It was delish!

Pros:

Room was amazing, bathroom looked a little less modern but to be fair it was a good shower. The both resteraunt was very relaxing and decor beautiful. Food was outstanding and staff extremely friendly
Breakfast in the morning was good portions and again lovely food. Mrs M in front desk was brilliant and even got to meet Justin!! Highly highly recommend

Everything about it was excellent! The Accomodations, cleanliness, hospitality, and the location made our stay there relaxed and enjoyable! The view from the 2nd floor was amazing!

Lovely, fresh, breezy, bright room. Definitely visit the restaurant for quality food
Pros:

Clean, Scandi/coastal vibe. Bright clean room. Good size room with a very firm bed. Bathroom good size with tub/shower combo.
Could use a dusting especially the fan in bathroom but a very nice room all around.
Basic bathroom amenities. Had a fridge microwave, coffee machine and kettle. Coffee, powder creamer and sugar/sweetener. Plates bowls and cutlery for 2. Queen size bed.

Cons:

Can’t really say anything negative at all. Maybe do a little dusting occasionally but overall very comfortable calming room. A few electric candles would be nice.
