Stay Felt Like Home
Pros:

Ashaya greeted me upon my arrival with excitement and enthusiasm. She made me feel warm and welcoming. I stayed in the suite, the view and room was nice and spacious. I only stayed one night for a quick getaway but with the experience I received definitely left a lasting impression will stay at this location again.

Pros:

Our stay at Hyatt Regency Galleria Houston exceeded every expectation. Upon arrival, Emmy at the front desk surprised my husband and I with an incredible complimentary room upgrade and bottle of wine + charcuterie board for our 10 year wedding anniversary. We didn’t want to leave the room! The views were immaculate. Every inch of the hotel room was pristinely clean. The bar and restaurant downstairs had delicious cocktails and atmosphere. The pool was gorgeous and relaxing. We walked to the galleria and enjoyed exploring uptown. As native Houstonians, we can’t give this hotel and the staff enough praise. We will absolutely be back! Thank you, Hyatt!

Best hotel in the Galleria area by far
Pros:

Great hotel with fantastic staff in a great location, from the moment we stepped in the doors Gladys and Nicque looked after us like family, giving us great restaurant and bar advice each day. Roberto in the bar made the best spicy marg I have ever had. Will definitely be back.

Uma decepção total. Não recomendo a ninguém.
Cons:

Um monte de coisas:
- a pessoa no check-in parecia que queria me bater. Fiquei com medo até.
- serviço de quarto não existe. Eu não sei por que eles dizem que existe, por que não existe. Pedi 3 coisas, 3 dias seguidos e não recebi nenhuma delas. Depois de ligar uma quarta vez no terceiro dia, consegui receber algo.
- o café da manhã é igual ao de um Ibis ou hotel de entrada. Bem fraco. Nenhum problema ser assim, o único problema é que não condiz com a categoria do hotel e do valor cobrado pela diária e extras..
- E dai, para completar, no último dia, fiquei sem receber 2 das 3 sacolas de lavanderia que enviei. E ainda, não recebi o boné da primeira. Sendo que, a última dessas sacolas que enviei, havia enviado 24hrs antes e a outra 36hrs antes. Total do prejuízo: 3 bonés, 2 bermudas, 2 camisetas, 2 meias e 2 underwear. 11 pcs total. Ruim né? Sabem por que? Por que eles terceirizam o processo e demoram um certo para devolver. (mais uma: eles não levam no quarto a lavanderia, você precisa lá no check-in pedir por ela...)
Enfim... se eu ver Hyatt Regency em alguma cidade de novo para reservar, vou ter certeza de que devo escolher um outro nome... pois esse pra mim, é lembrança de muita coisa ruim..

Good Hotel, Poor Handling of a Bonus Points Promotion
Pros:

The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. However, my experience with the World of Hyatt promotion was very disappointing. I followed all the instructions for the hotel’s World Cup promotion, completed two qualifying social media posts, and showed them to the staff. Unfortunately, no one seemed to know how the promotion worked. I was repeatedly told to speak with a supervisor, who was unavailable several times. On my fourth attempt, the supervisor confirmed that I would receive 1,000 World of Hyatt bonus points. At checkout, I was then told the points still required manager approval. It has now been several days since my stay, and the promised points have still not been credited to my account. This wasn’t about the value of the points—it was about honoring a promotion that the hotel advertised and improving staff communication. I hope Hyatt Regency Houston Galleria provides better training and follows through on commitments made to guests.

- Room Service inexistente. Quer dizer, existe, mas não serve pra nada. Pedi 3 coisas, liguei 3x cada vez dessas, e nenhuma vez chegou alguma coisa no quarto. Horrível. Sofrível.
- Check-in fui atendido por uma pessoa que não queria estar trabalhando naquele dia. Cordialidade zero. A pessoa chegava a ser agressiva no atendimento.
