Breakfast was good. It would be better if they had hot selections, like eggs, french toast, erc.
Bugs in room. Spackling arounds tub and toilet need replacing.
Clean basic room. An easy walk into Rockport which is gorgeous.
We didn't use the pool but it looked OK, and there was a small courtyard outside it with sun loungers and a firepit in the evening which was a nice feature.
Although the room had a microwave and kettle there was no other equipment at all. I had to go to reception to ask for plates and cutlery.
Breakfast in the morning was very basic. All plates and cutlery were disposable.
Whilst the staff were always responsive and helpful, they didn't seem that thrilled to be there.
It was very quiet and clean , great on site parking centrally located to downtown Rockport and Gloucester

Whole toilet literally moves when you use it - not affixed to floor securely. And no I am not overweight.
Tatty, cheap, damaged furniture and a popcorn ceiling. $280 for a mid-week night and it has a popcorn ceiling.

Shower rail coming out of wall both ends.
Bath tub faucet not affixed to wall.
Ironing board hanger coming out of wall.
Took pictures / videos of everything when I arrived and when I left because I read a review where they charged $100 for something that the occupant honestly reported as damaged. Since the room was damaged when I arrived I wasn't taking any chances.
Comfort Inn standard but 2 ½ times the price.
$100 hold for ‘incidentals’. There’s no mini bar and ‘free’ breakfast, so what exactly could ‘incidentals’ be? It’s a damage deposit. Call it what it is. Not declared before booking so I wasn’t expecting it. If they don’t refund it I’ll be disputing it via a chargeback with my credit card.
Crappy coffee in the room. $280 a night and crappy coffee along with crappy powdered ‘creamer’.
Almost refused me when I arrived because I didn’t have a physical credit card when checking in, just a digital wallet. I had already paid for the full stay before arriving. Motel did not state during booking the need for a physical credit card on check-in which is why I didn’t bring one, having already paid in full.
It’s a glorified motel. Doors on the street. As a single woman I would never have booked here if I had known that. I thought I was booking a proper hotel. Especially at $280 for a mid-week night.

Far from center of town. TV did not have updated streaming options like Netflix or Hulu.

Sink was clogged. Tried to unclog it and black mold came up. Weird discoloration on the floor of the tub as well.

Room had ripped carpeting, sinks & tub difficult to.drain,.no grab bars in tub, no grip mat or strips on the tub ftoor, (very slippery, dangerous)Broken tile in the shower surround. The Television didn't correspond to the channel guide. Room telephone was dead. Reason we stayed, Room was clean, beds were comfortable. Also no waffles & other breakfast food shown on their website were available. Staff nondescript
