Comfortable and special experience in a convenient and beautiful location!
Pros:

We stayed on the top floor and wow! Spacious, comfy, and a perfect place to relax. Incredible view as well. We stayed for two nights and unfortunately the weather was pretty poor. It rained the whole time and was super windy so we didn’t get to take the ropeway, which was the whole reason we chose this location. I’m glad we did though, because it was a great part of the city to stay in. The staff were so kind and accommodating. It felt like a special experience. The room was so large I felt like we had an entire house to ourselves. I would definitely stay here again if I am ever lucky enough to return.

Cons:

Really hard to find things to dislike about this place. Everything is a little dated, but it has character.

Spacious, well-located room with excellent staff
Pros:

Big, comfortable room with a great high-floor view onto the ropeway station, excellent AC. Staff was genuinely helpful, especially for the self-check-in process—very kind throughout. On-site laundry worked well, no issues. Location in Motomachi is excellent—right where you want to be for exploring the district, waterfront, and ropeway access.

Cons:

No breakfast at all—just vending machines in the lobby. Nearby restaurants were all full when we tried, though that's not really the hotel's fault, just bad luck/timing.

Das Hotel an sich ist ganz gut, Zimmer (für japanische Verhältnisse) groß, komfortabel und mit guten Betten, dennoch…

Cons:

…würde ich nicht wieder übernachten wollen. Warum? Frühstück fehlt! Ich hatte gemeint, das wir bei den vielen, nahegelegenen Cafés würden frühstücken können. Die machen aber frühestens um 10 Uhr auf. Wir mussten zum Bahnhof zurück…

Schade.

Overall comfortable and cozy hotel
Pros:

Good location next to the red brick warehouses. Well equipped facilities and helpful staff. The room was very spacious and the view of Mt Hakodate was amazing. The washing machines were useful with clearly explained instructions.

Cons:

Pocation can be a little far from some restaurants and amenities. The windows aren't supposed to be opened and so may be uncomfortable in hot weather.

また泊まりたい！
Pros:

市電十字街停留所から近く、元町やベイエリアへの徒歩散策に便利。函館山の夜景見学後も、ホテル近くのコンビニに寄りながら帰ることができた。
お部屋は予想以上の広さで、ベッドやソファ、テレビも大きく、ゆっくり滞在時間をたのしめた。室内に岩盤浴ができる機器があり、歩き疲れた身体を休めるのにとてもよかった。
7階で函館山に面した部屋だったので、ロープウェイや教会の屋根がバルコニーからよく見え、特に夜の景色を楽しむことができた。

Cons:

空気清浄機が古めだったのか、少々音が大きくきになった。

Very peaceful and private. And comfortable bed. Room nice size. Location is excellent for seeing the town and shopping. Friendly staff.

There was no possibility to enjoy a drink anywhere like a bar. One could make green tea in the room.

Pros:

Nice staffs, big size room. It is located in a quiet convenient place , 7 mins walk to red brick, 700 meters to ropeway entrance. Afternoon tea time from 15:00 till 22:00
