Reasonable hotel on the outskirts of Reigate
Pros:

Staff were very pleasant (when you saw one)
Plenty of room outside for a drink and plenty of car parking spaces.
The room was nicely furnished & clean. Tea & coffee was provided.
1/2 hourly bus service to Reigate & Gatwick.

Cons:

Often, there was no staff available either at reception or at the bar.
Not their fault, but the rooms were very hot despite a fan being provided although the corridors were nice and cool.
Wi-fi was intermittent.

Pros:

Breakfast was great with lots to choose from however the hot food could be slightly more hotter as it was lukewarm

Pros:

Dit hotel is geschikt als tussenstop omdat het 5 minuten van de M25 af ligt, in het stadje Reigate. Het is nog wel 25 minuten lopen naar het centrum. Er rijdt ook een bus, taxi voor die afstand kost 7,50 pond. Het ontbijt is typisch Engels; cereals (cornflakes e.d.), fruit, toast, jam en een buffet met witte bonen in tomatensaus, bacon, worstjes (van uitstekende kwaliteit) en gebakken champignons. Gebakken eieren kunnen ter plaatse besteld worden. Geen kaas of vleeswaren e.d.

Cons:

De inrichting is wat verouderd hoewel redelijk goed onderhouden. Wastafel met 2 kranen, 1 voor (kokend) heet water, 1 voor koud water. Douche is in het bad, douchekop zit aan de muur bevestigd en dus geen handdouche. Van de handoekrekken kon de verwarming niet worden uitgezet, vervelend als het buiten 33 graden is en er geen airco op de kamers aanwezig is. De matrassen op d bedden zijn ook aan vervanging toezien ieder geval 1 zat een ligkuil in. Er zijn diverse zalen voor feesten partijen die, net als de ontbijtzaal wel airco hebben. Van de feestzalen heb je relatief weinig last, maar we beschikten wel over de twee verste kamers in de gang naast het hoofdgebouw. De kamers wordt erg laat schoongemaakt, bij aankomst om half vier was er 1 kamer (van de 2) nog niet klaar, dat kan beter. Maar 140 euro per kamer per nacht is echt teveel van het goede.

Dated but faintly pleasant
Pros:

Bed was very comfortable. Shower had excellent pressure. Nice size bathroom considering the 'cosy' size of the room.

Cons:

No Wifi in room. Food in lounge is faintly average pub food. Hardly any staff available, always had to wait a while at any desk. Room keys had to be 'reset' every single day. Tired, stuffy decor.

Convenient good value stay to facilitate attendance at a party

Room hot no aircon and quite small, but we weren’t in it for long. Housekeeping tried to clean room before checkout time.
