Credit cards issued to people other guest (i.e., parent, spouse, etc.) are not accepted in Mexico. Student / Youth policy (YEAR ROUND) Student / Youth Travelers are defined as any guest 24 years of age and younger traveling without legal parent / guardian and is applicable at ALL Oasis properties on a year round basis.
As a general rule, the Grand Oasis Cancún will be the only property that will accept Student / Youth GROUPS (not applicable to family travel). Any guests meeting the above definition of Student / Youth Traveler are subject to the following conditions: § Upon check-in, passengers will be required to pay a one-time Student / Youth resort fee (charges may vary). Policy is mandatory, per person and not refundable.
Operator is obligated to inform all Students/Youths of this charge. Minimum age requirement for hotel check-in is 18 years of age. All rooms require one person that is at least 18 when occupied by a 17 year old passenger. All students under the legal age of 18 require a notarized consent from parent/legal guardian providing authorization and taking responsibility for the guest. No passenger under the age of 17 years of age is allowed to occupy any room without a parent or legal guardian accompanying them. Any student group traveling with guests under the age of 18 will require chaperon(s). One chaperon is required per 1-19 students/youths under the age of 18. The minimum age requirement for a chaperon is 25. All students will be assigned a special bracelet for ID purposes; this policy is applicable year round. Please note the legal drinking age in Mexico is 18. A mandatory environmental fee and a resort fee per room per stay will be charge upon check in.

The pool and the area around it is great, much bigger than expected with ample space for relaxing in the sun and in the shade. The breakfast is also excellent with lots of choices - all really good. The location is good. A very pleasant stay overall.
Possibly the double beds are a bit small for two adults but their size seems to be the standard here in Mexico.
It is not a beach club it’s at the downtown. The pictures of a beach on booking.com are a lie

Todo, pues es más lindo que lo que se muestra en fotos. Ubicación próxima a todo, el tamaño de la habitación, pues es más grande de lo que se ve en fotos, el personal muy atento, especialmente Ivan, con la atención del bar en la piscina. La limpieza, todo ha sido excelente. Y el desayuno, muy completo y variado
El personal y su honestidad, olvidé mi cartera en el mostrador y el chico de la noche muy amablemente me llamó a mi habitación para devolverla, estaba integra con todo intacto. 10/10

Our room was not cleaned until 16.00 on Wednesday 17th June, despite having to ask reception several times, not sure if the house cleaning team were off on this day. There were 2 bins filled to the max and smelling of the nights before left over dinner, the room could of done with a clean and tidy up. When we arrived at the hotel on the 11th June the shower attachment to the wall was hanging off the wall. It was reported to reception and we fixed the following day. The day after if was broken again and we had just used the broken shower as it was for our whole duration at the hotel.
We were charged £102.00 ($2240.00) upon arriving at the hotel, which we were told this was told this was hotel tax. When we booked this hotel it was showing on the booking.com website that the amount for the hotel tax would be $

Bon rapport qualité-prix. Bien situé. Pas loin du centre. Chambre moderne avec un grand balcon. On a eu une chambre avec un grand balcon donnant sur les jolies piscines. C'était calme. Lit confortable. Petit-déjeuner buffet très bon et beaucoup de choix.
On était content de voir une machine à café espresso, étant des amateurs de café. Quelle déception de voir le matin que la machine n'est pas fonctionnelle. On a essayé d'appeler la réception. On n'arrivait pas à entendre notre interlocuteur. Disons qu'on s'attend à mieux dans un hôtel de ce niveau.
Very good breakfast. Room was very spacious. There are restaurants and convenience stores nearby within a 10-minute walk.
