Credit cards issued to people other guest (i.e., parent, spouse, etc.) are not accepted in Mexico. Student / Youth policy (YEAR ROUND) Student / Youth Travelers are defined as any guest 24 years of age and younger traveling without legal parent / guardian and is applicable at ALL Oasis properties on a year round basis.
As a general rule, the Grand Oasis Cancún will be the only property that will accept Student / Youth GROUPS (not applicable to family travel). Any guests meeting the above definition of Student / Youth Traveler are subject to the following conditions: § Upon check-in, passengers will be required to pay a one-time Student / Youth resort fee (charges may vary). Policy is mandatory, per person and not refundable.
Operator is obligated to inform all Students/Youths of this charge. Minimum age requirement for hotel check-in is 18 years of age. All rooms require one person that is at least 18 when occupied by a 17 year old passenger. All students under the legal age of 18 require a notarized consent from parent/legal guardian providing authorization and taking responsibility for the guest. No passenger under the age of 17 years of age is allowed to occupy any room without a parent or legal guardian accompanying them. Any student group traveling with guests under the age of 18 will require chaperon(s). One chaperon is required per 1-19 students/youths under the age of 18. The minimum age requirement for a chaperon is 25. All students will be assigned a special bracelet for ID purposes; this policy is applicable year round. Please note the legal drinking age in Mexico is 18. A mandatory environmental fee and a resort fee per room per stay will be charge upon check in.

I was charged a service fee that was not mentioned before I do the reservation.
The toilet was broken. The fixed it at night but this was only temporarily because in the morning it was not flashing. My stay was for one night so no time to call for a fix again, I had to check out

Ya habiamos pagado el impuesto en booking, y en recepcion al momento de check in nos cobraron de nuevo, hasta el momento no nos han hecho el reembolso. Perdimos mucho tiempo en el check in.
Habitación amplia y limpia, suficiente agua purificada. Alberca hermosa. Alimentos deliciosos. Personal amable.

Staff were friendly and helpful,the location was good for public transport and ease of walking , the swimming pool and access to sunbeds was very good.
Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very attentive. The room was big with a comfortable bed and a very good shower, The coffee machine was a nice touch and bottled water was well stocked.
I did not like the slow check-in from Diego where he insisted that my booking had not been paid for and that he requested I pay again .
I insisted he check again and he informed me that I should be checking my bank account to ensure the withdrawal had been successfully made , I informed him that I had, but to satisfy him I had to go into my account and bring up the payment page which he would only accept if he were allowed to take a photo of my account payment page on his own personal phone. I consider this bad practice and could possibly leave my account vulnerable.
I have informed my bank to be aware of any possible unusual activity.
Dafür das es 4Sterne hat, haben einiges an Ausstattung gefehlt. Es waren leider auch Katalanen im Bad. Das Zimmer ist leider auch bisschen veraltet.
Las instalaciones del hotel son excelentes, habitación impecable y personal muy amable. Se me olvidaba el desayuno que fue espectacular, mucha variedad
