Very nice and ambitious hotel
Pros:

Location, Hospitality, politeness of staff, warm welcome, food, garden, colonial look and cleanliness.
It was my marriage anniversary and we planned tour to srilanka with my wife and daughter. We booked junior suit.
It's nearby to city center of nuwara eliya.

Mr. Benedict, is a nice person. He took care of us very good.
He arrange decoration in bar room with baloons and all stuff. He arranged very nice wine bottle and such a nice premium quality cake with sparkling ✨️ candel.
Mr. Benedict and all staff really make my day. I cannot forget the all things they do for me and my family.

Highly recommend for stay in nuwara eliya.

Wer England liebt, der ist hier genau richtig
Pros:

Wer England liebt, wird das Glendower lieben. Ich hatte die Junior Suite und ein kleines Wohnzimmer mit Sofa und Sessel, selbstverständlich mit demselben Bezug wie auch die Gardinen. Extrem gut ist die Lage fast direkt neben dem Grand Hotel, wo man unbedingt ab 16:00 einen High Tea genießen sollte. Sehr praktisch ist es, dass das Glendower über einen eigenen Pub verfügt, in dem man abends bis 22:00 den Tag bei einem kühlen Tiger ausklingen lassen kann. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist gut.

The staff changed my room to one that was more comfortable. The bed was fine and overall, the staff were accommodating.
