Pedn-Olva

Die Zimmergröße ist eine Zumutung, man kann geradeso um das Bett laufen. Es ist kein Platz, um den Koffer zu öffnen. Einen Schrank gibt es nicht, um den Koffer auszuräumen.
Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon, der praktisch keiner ist, da er zugänglich ist für Gäste der Nachbarzimmer oder die, die auf die Restaurant-Terrasse wollen. Weshalb wir die Balkontür nachts nicht offen lassen wollten. Dies hatte zur Folge, dass es, trotz Ventilator, sehr warm war. Klimaanlage gibt es nicht.
Die Betten sind extrem durchgelegen, die Kissen und auch das Polster am Kopfende riechen muffig. An Schlaf war also kaum zu denken.
Das Bad, obwohl auch extrem klein, wäre ok, wenn nicht das Waschbecken die Größe eines Schuhkartons hätte, was das Zähneputzen praktisch unmöglich macht, ohne sich den Kopf zu stoßen, da direkt über dem Waschbecken ein Bord angebracht ist. Es landet alles unweigerlich auf dem Boden.
Zum Frühstück gab es warme Gerichte zum Bestellen. Das war auch gut, denn das Buffet war sehr dürftig für so ein Hotel. Es gab wenig Obst, Müsli und etwas Wurst und Käse, aber weder Toast noch Brötchen dazu.
Alles in allem hatten wir für den hohen Preis (400€/Nacht) mehr erwartet als nur eine schöne Lage.

Standard room was incredibly over priced, the bedroom was tiny, I value a reasonable sized room over a view. The view was great but a comfortable room would have been better. The bathroom was far too small, in order to use the toilet you had the sink right up against you. The shower was so small it was hard to do things like leg shaving. We are skinny luckily, and I have know idea how a larger couple would have coped. I think they would have had to go to a different hotel.

The room was totally inadequate and far from what was advertised. We booked a "Superior Double Room" and it was advertised as having a wardrobe, desk and sitting area. The room was tiny. There were no wardrobes, drawers, seats and no room to put our cases. We had to live out of our suitcases. The bathroom was very small and the tiny sink was unusable as there was a shelf above it which prevented us from using the sink without getting water all over the floor.

Some rooms have tiny bathrooms you need to get used to. You should turn the lights off in the bar and restaurant over night. They bother some of the rooms and it is a waste of electricity and not very eco-friendly.

I enjoyed everything! Can't complain... The only problem was had was the tight roads near Hotel. No parking outside the hotel. Call Hotel for parking information.

The Pedn-Olva has been upgraded to a high standard, so nothing to report, as even the top deck, planting & Mediterranean feel is amazing 🤩
