Had decent parking and was in the town centre. Unfortunately that’s all i can say.
Not sure where to start on this revue as i am used to praising my visited locations. Having stayed here some years ago and found it to be a good hotel it was an obvious place to stop for a night as we were driving back to the channel coast. We had two single rooms. The experience was the same for both of us.
We were booked in and went up to the rooms on the second floor, on the way the route was lined with creep manakins and toy spiders hanging down. What a shock!!! bedding was screwed into a ball on the bed. The sheets were covered with dead bugs and the pillow smelt of sweat TV did not work and the TV remote was sticky all over. Wiring from the lighting by the bed was hanging out of the wall.
The bathroom was clean and functional though apart from an unwashed glass. The bin had not been empted. As i stood in my room surveying what i had discovered my door was flung open and a wild looking man stood there shouting at me in German.
He was dragged away by a woman and pushed into a room across the corridor. We both went back to the lobby to robustly complain only to find the reception was closed and no one was to be seen. (our error was not leaving then).
we went out into the town to return later that evening to the hotel.
Decided to cover the bed in a towel and sleep in my clothes with the light on. As i lay down once again my door was knocking. I opened it and again found the man from before shouting at me but this time he was in his underpants.
He ran away and it was peaceful for about an hour until i heard raised voices. Opened the door to find the police going into the room opposite me to arrest the noisy man. This was soon followed up by a group of several people using the landings and stairwells as a location to hold a noisy debate for an hour or so.
Come 5am we both grabbed our bags and left in the night. We drove two hundred miles then stopped for breakfast and a drink.
Locatie heel goed. Gratis parkeren. Vriendelijk ontvangst. Eerder inchecken geen probleem.
Beetje enge trap.
Sehr, sehr nettes Personal..
