Rancho Pacifico

We had the honor of celebrating our honeymoon at the incredible Rancho Pacifico, and even though we had done plenty of research beforehand, the experience still completely exceeded our expectations. From the moment you step out of the car, to the moment you (very reluctantly) have to leave, you are treated like royalty.

We spent six unforgettable days and nights in the Treehouse Tamandua, and loved every single moment of it. Falling asleep and waking up to the sounds of the jungle felt almost unreal, in the best possible way.

The food is absolutely top class, and the service is warm, friendly, and genuinely personal. A big thank you to the entire team, from chefs and waiters to concierge, groundskeepers, housekeeping, and spa staff.

This place is truly something special, and we are already planning to come back to celebrate future anniversaries here.

Beautiful location with stunning rooms/ treehouse. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. Treehouse was very large and tastefully decorated. Pool area was also nice.
Road up is really not too bad.

From the second we stepped foot on the property at Rancho Pacifico, I knew it was going to be a 5-star experience, and it was! Within seconds of arriving, Jason, the bartender had wonderful fresh fruit drinks in our hands. The outdoor bar, pool, spa, lawn would be where we spent most of our days. Jason was a gem, made anything drink we asked for, all with fresh fruit picked on the property. We opted out of some excursions just to enjoy every moment we could on this stunning property. The views, the staff, the meals, the cleaners, and the gardeners all made our stay amazing. Plan to eat your meals on property, as the food quality, taste, presentation, service and views made the experience a 10 out of 10. I would highly recommend Rancho Pacifico and encourage you to plan nothing and just enjoy this beautiful, relaxing slice of Heaven.

We truly enjoyed our recent stay at Rancho Pacifico. We opted for the all-inclusive package to keep things simple for us, and it was the perfect choice.
All of our excursions and transportation were booked in advance. All we had to do was go to the front desk as scheduled and off we went!
Being taken care of this manner allowed us to truly relax (which was our goal).

We stayed in Treehouse Puma, which was stunning. Lounging in the swing seat on the veranda, taking in the sights and sounds was delightful. The room was beautifully designed - light and airy. The main hotel was great, with views out over the whale’s tail bay. Food and service were fantastic.

If you are looking for an intimate and luxurious stay near Uvita, Rancho Pacifico is the perfect place to stay. From the time we booked our reservation to when we sadly had to leave to return home, the service was excellent. The treehouse Tamandua we stayed in was beyond beautiful and very private with a stunning view. They booked a fabulous day trip for us to Corcovado National Park and we enjoyed the daily shuttle to the Marino Ballena National Park and beach where we walked the long beach, swam and relaxed. The food and drinks were excellent, including a romantic private dinner organized for our last night. We hope to return soon.

My stay at Rancho Pacifico was truly a 10/10 experience and easily one of the best vacations I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded expectations.

The food was absolutely incredible—every meal felt like a gourmet dining experience with fresh, beautifully prepared dishes that we looked forward to every day. The rooms were spotless and extremely well maintained, making it easy to fully relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

What really made the stay unforgettable was the staff(Jason,Vianney,Adrian,Henry and Andrey). Everyone was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and genuinely friendly. They went out of their way to make sure every detail of our stay was perfect and that we felt completely taken care of.

Between the amazing food, immaculate accommodations, and outstanding service, Rancho Pacifico delivered a truly exceptional experience. If you're looking for a place to relax, be pampered, and enjoy an unforgettable vacation, I can’t recommend this resort highly enough. We’re already dreaming about coming back!

Rancho Pacifico was a dream! I have been recommending it to everyone I tell about my trip. Everything has been thought through and cared for, and the staff are all exceptional. Everything from the accommodations to the service to the food was superb. We had our wedding at Rancho Pacifico and we stayed at the Villa Romantica. It was honestly the nicest accommodations we have ever stayed at and we are used to being spoiled. The service was amazing. The staff go out of their way to learn what you like and dislike. My wife is vegan and they were more than accommodating. They don’t know how to say no. If you’re looking for uncompromising luxury do yourself a favour and book an all inclusive package here. Second time at Rancho Pacifico in less than 1 year. Unlike many resorts we've travelled to multiple times that were less enjoyable the second time around, Rancho Pacifico and Costa Rica in general definitely did not disappoint on the return. Great team at RP, beautiful location, and food/beverage service are second to none. We did a couples massage this time around that made us wonder why we skipped this part of the experience the first time we visited. The only disappointing thing was we booked too late to book one of the Treehouses as we did first time around.

We will most definitely return!!

Rancho Pacifico knocks it out of the park! Treehouse Tamandua was incredible, infinity pool overlooking the whale’s tail was simply beautiful and every meal was amazing. Great variety, great taste, and I’d even go so far as to say the presentation was borderline spectacular. But most importantly it was the staff that made our stay near perfect. Every staff member should be commended for going out of their way to ensure every little need was taken care of.

I wish I had a better vocabulary to describe Rancho Pacifico. The privacy and seclusion of being in the rain forest, the wonderful staff who handle anything you require, the glorious food and cocktails, what's not to love? It was truly a fantastic and unforgettable week for my wife and I, and I highly, highly recommend. Do yourself a favour and spoil yourself for a stay at Rancho Pacifico!

The entire staff at Rancho Pacifico were fabulous. We had a wonderful stay with our friends and wouldn’t hesitate to return on our next visit to Costa Rica. Pura Vida!!

Truly an unforgettable experience. It’s the staff the that make all the difference. Adrian and Henry went out of their way to make this so special for us. Don’t get me started on the food. Those pork ribs and steak with chimichurri sauce will live rent free in my head for a while.

We had a just magical, relaxing, adventurous experience at Rancho Pacifico. Every detail was clearly thought of, all staff was extremely friendly and service oriented. Will absolutely plan to be back.

My husband and I stayed at Rancho Pacifico for our honeymoon and it was incredible! We received complimentary champagne to celebrate which was so sweet. The hotel is beautiful, the staff were so friendly and accommodating and the food was absolutely delicious! Also it’s a small hotel with only about 20 guests which is really nice because it makes things more intimate and personal. We loved how the hotel was truly up in the jungle but you can look out and see the ocean and Uvita beach. The rooms were so nice and housekeeping would go in multiple times a day to keep everything clean and make sure you had everything you needed. Even though it isn’t cheap it was absolutely worth the price. We definitely would stay here again! Highly recommend!

This place is truly outstanding (my highest ranking) ! The Treehouse Tucan is beautiful, large, well appointed and very private with spectacular views and Tucan's right off the balcony. The food and service is also top notch and this area of Costa Rica is spectacular. Highly recommended! As is the ATV tour of the hills, streams, waterfalls and coffee plantation in the rain forest.
