Ohia Waikiki Studio Suites

I was disappointed with the housekeeping service during my stay. The room was not cleaned properly. Sometimes the staff didn’t vacuum the room, even though vacuuming and mopping should be part of the regular cleaning service. They were also supposed to change the bed linens and towels, refill the shampoo and soap, and empty the trash.

I constantly had to remind the staff to replace our towels. We were a family of three, but they regularly forgot to leave a third towel, so I had to go to the front desk several times to ask for one.

Another issue was the beach towels. Every time I asked for one at the front desk, they were out of stock. One day we came very early in the morning, and there were still no beach towels available.

If the hotel improved its housekeeping standards and staff organization, it would be a much more comfortable place to stay.

The hotel is also in need of renovation. The interior feels very outdated, and it looks like it should have been renovated at least 5–10 years ago.

Room was outdated with wallpaper peeling off, beds were disgusting to a point where my wife and I slept in our clothes we we wearing when we arrived late at night. Shower and toilet area was old and unkept, carpets were dirty, kitchenette had cocaroch crawling on the stove and sliding door to clothes cupboard would not move to be closed. This establishment does not deserve to be rated 1 star let alone 3 stars as put up on Booking.com.

Underneath the mattress was dirty. There was a foul smell as soon as we entered the room. Ended up finding some nasty liquid leaking out of the refrigerator. Dirty stove top. Other guests were yelling, even cussing each other out until nearly 3 a. m.

Not updated, many thing to fix, wall very old, allway with hole everywhere, carpet not clean at all, very noisy at night

Pas de serviettes à l’arrivée à 7h alors que nous devions arriver la veille à 15h. J’ai réclamé à 3 reprises dans la journée des serviettes qui ne sont arrivées que le le demain matin!

It’s outdated certain rooms have broken furniture very dirty. The whole building is the same outdated and has damage

J'ai eu des cafards au niveau de la cuisine.. et en faisant chauffer mon café dans la cafetière, y'a un cafard qui est sorti de dedàs la cafetière.. j'en ai refere au réceptionniste le lendemain matin de ma première nuit et j'ai quitté l'établissement pour un autre .. voilà

While sitting in the lobby did have one mental case that was staying there harass me and my 14yo son, front desk staff didn’t do anything.

Beds were hard, was an older style hotel so stains everywhere and only one lift working. But patients is a virtue

It was dirty. The rooms were cleaned every 3 days and we were told we had to request each day to have the room cleaned but they never did. Staff assured us every morning that they could come and clean our room, yet every day we would return to a dirty room. They only gave us two towels, one floor towel, and one face towel for the length of our stay. Once they finally cleaned the room (without vacuuming) they did not give clean towels as they were not ready until THE DAY AFTER. So we had to buy two towels across the street to use as they left us without towels overnight. Last but not least, there were two cockroaches and bed bugs that left me with bites all over my body. The kitchen area was dirty with the metal parts all rusty. Parking is available as valet only at the hotel, for $51 a night. Breakfast was snack bags provided with bags of chips and granola bars.

We never got pool/beach towels. They were all being used or washed at all times. By the second day we just bought our own beach towels. When our room was "ready" we had only one wash cloth. No bath towels, no hand towels. The carpet also looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in atleast 2 weeks. There was sand and dirt and the paint peeling off the walls and ceiling onto the floor. We called down to reception twice, around 5-6pm, to fix the towel situation and it still took them half an hour to bring up towels so we could shower. Our room was supposed to be "refreshed" on our third day. When we came back around 6pm, our room had not been touched. The trash can was still full, no new towels, no soap. We will not be staying here again.
