Great hotel in the heart of Chicago.
Pros:

The location was fantastic; the room was big enough for 2 people with a roomy bathroom. Our room was very clean as well. Breakfast was just OK, rather underwhelming given the price of the hotel.
Bar and food was very good and the service was great.

Newly discovered hidden gem in Chicago
Pros:

What a fantastic, hidden gem of a hotel just off and around the corner from Wacker Drive. Loved it and added to one of our Chicago favorites. Location super convenient. Staff here are so personable and friendly. Hampton Inn right next door both buildings tall and narrow with separate entrances. The HGI lobby area is small with a fitness center located on the lower level. Clean updated room, excellent location, and honestly, another hidden gem-within-a-hidden-gem is the lobby restaurant and bar. Loved it! We had two breakfasts and one dinner while staying there. Not normally something we would do while in Chicago but this worked our well for convenience, food quality, atmosphere and convenience. Highly recommend.
