On May 21st, I checked into Room with no issues. On May 22nd, at approximately 5:00 AM, I checked back into the same room with Jessica at the front desk. At that time, I specifically mentioned that I had placed the "Do Not Disturb" sign on my door and expressed my hope that it would be respected, as I would not be returning until later that evening due to scheduled meetings.
When I returned to my room at approximately 8:45 PM, I was shocked and disturbed to discover that the room had clearly been entered despite the "Do Not Disturb" sign being displayed.
The condition of the room was completely different from how I left it:
The lights and lamps were turned on, although I left them off.
The window shades were fully opened.
The bathroom light was on.
My clothing bag had been moved from the table to the chair.
The nightstand and desk drawers were left opened.
The bed cover that I intentionally placed on the floor had been put back onto the bed.
I had to go to the front desk, request NEW BEDDING, place the Sheets and all on myself due to the Bed Cover being placed back on the bed which was on the floor!
Personal bathroom items had clearly been moved or touched.
This situation is extremely disturbing and unacceptable. A guest's privacy, personal belongings, and explicit request not to be disturbed should be respected at all times. To return to a room that had been altered in so many ways without authorization left me feeling uncomfortable and violated.
Very disappointed with Charlotte-Burke-Thompson (Front office Manager) and Maguette Loechner (General Manager). This will never be a stay for me ever again, even if it means going to a Marriott Property or others!
cancel the fully payed room without any notice and refuse to keep the room even I contacted the hotel immediately.

This is a very luxurious suburban hotel with a sophisticated design that includes one of the most gracious inviting lobbies I’ve ever seen in a midrange hotel in the burbs.
It’s a bit isolated but close to Wallingford and the major CT highways.
New, clean and large facility with very gracious lobby and lounging areas. Nice bar and staff. Quiet, comfortable room.
Hotel and room were clean. Probably the cleanest room I’ve ever stayed in. Loved the blackout curtains. And the bed was very comfortable. Service was excellent. Especially the cleaning staff and front desk associates. A few hours after we checked out, I realized I had left my wedding ring in the room and when I went back to the hotel, they had found it for me! They were so helpful and actually happy to help me!
There were some men working in the hotel. One of them was rude to my son when he was on the elevator. It wasn’t a huge deal, but my son was upset about it.
The stay would have been fine if I was charged for the appropriate number of nights that I stayed. I needed to check out 2 days early, confirmed with the front desk, and then was still billed for an additional 2 days. Then upon calling the hotel to correct the error, I was hung up on and pushed to a general operator. No other way to describe it other than robbery.
