Lovely stay … would come again
Pros:

In a great position for the centre of York. Staff were excellent.

Cons:

Not the fault of the hotel but the screaming, shouting and arguing outside at night and the noise from the next door room at 11.30pm

Gorgeous hotel in a perfect location. Highly recommend
Pros:

Lovely hotel in a great location. Staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful if they tried. Room was spotlessly clean and had everything we could have needed (hairdryer, robes, slippers, toiletries, air con in a heatwave). Breakfast was lovely, all tastes catered to. Only little downfall for me is that you have to pay for parking. IMO should be included within room cost, or at least cheaper than surrounding local car parks (all public carparks are £18 for 24h stay but hotel car park is £18 until 12pm next day, so if you don’t get there till 3pm check in time then you are missing out on a few hours). Staff went above and beyond which made our stay perfect.

Great location but a poor nights sleep- walls are too thin so we could hear everything going on outside in the corridors

Great location, easy to get everywhere in York.

Cons:

The walls are so thin we could hear every noise (corridors, showers being used, toilets being flushed etc.), which meant we had a really poor nights sleep.
