Lovely experience but few things could be fixed to make it perfect
Pros:

Staff were lovely and it was in a good location.

Cons:

Internet kept dropping out on one side of the room, also a few things could be done to improve the place. A phone in the room or a what’s app number to order food and drink without having to leave the room would be ideal so you don’t have to go to the bar or reception. Also a safe in the rooms would be great. As my door didn’t lock properly (could be opened when locked with a goo tug) somewhere to put my passport and extra money for peace of mind would have been great.

Amazing family holiday
Pros:

The moment we got to the resort, we were greeted by the lovely team of Angun, Danny and the team. They were warm, helpful and so welcoming. Always carries a smile and happy to help. The got the villa with a pool and 2 bedrooms with en-suite. The pool was huge, spacious living room and dining space. The rooms were very spacious as well and the bathrooms were also spacious and open aired. The grounds were lovely although some work is still being done at the back of the resort but it is not affecting us a as guests. It is right in front of the beach, clean and clear water, a quiet side of the busy GiliT but still has what you need from restaurants to minimart just next door, atm, frozen yoghurt, shops and a night open aired cinema a few steps away. Breakfast is lovely and sitting facing the beach is not only calming and lovely, but we were greeted but turtles. We went for a snorkel and saw 4 turtles. The team also assisted in renting electric scooters to go around, although you could also go on horse carts or bicycles. Such a lovely resort and we would recommend it for families or of any group traveling to GiliT. We will visit GiliT again and would come back. Thank you Mala Garden Resort and Spa!

Pros:

The room, facility and hospitality was super great! Danny was the best host ever, gave us lots of good advice about the island and always had a smile on his face. Honestly couldn’t ask for anymore from the place. Made our time on Gilli T a 10/10 experience

Pros:

Die Unterkunft ist etwas entfernt vom Trubel am Hafen. Für uns jedoch optimal. Mit den Fahrrädern, die wir umsonst vom Hotel bekamen konnten wir in 15 Minuten zum Hafen fahren und waren mitten im Geschehen. Das Personal war super hilfsbereit. Die Poolvilla war top.

После возврата денег на карту, сумма была не в полном размере. Такие отели необходимо наказывать.

Мы были уже в дороге, когда отель отменил заказ. Хотя заказ был с полной оплатой, которая прошла еще летом (более 6 месяцев назад). Ни помощи, ни рекомендаций от отеля мы не получили. Отель в действительности закрыт, но не сообщил заранее, создав сильный стресс для нас. Спасибо booking.com, компания дала полную поддержку.

I would come back as they informed us that they will renovate it!The team was great , the place on the island is amazing.As for the room it was ok - a bit basic & noisy as they were doing renovation but actually we did not had any issues!Everything was nice and value for money!

Excellent hotel, lovely grounds, excellent room
Pros:

Absolutely great hotel, directly on the beach, staff couldn't do enough to help you, the rooms were lovely and really big. loads of curtains so they were really bright. The bathroom was beautiful. Big fan of this place

Magnifique hôtel, malheureusement pas entretenu.
Pros:

Cet hôtel a tout pour être magnifique, malheureusement il n'est absolument pas entretenu, du coup tout est vétuste: le mobilier, la plomberie, l'électricité, les équipements, le linge de maison, les abords,... tout! Pourtant il y a un potentiel énorme! La piscine est magnifique, la plage aussi. Nous avions la villa avec piscine privée, elle est superbe, mais plein de trucs cassés ou abîmés, de la mousse dans la salle de bain, les plantations qui se meurent... Bref, nous avons malgré tout passé un très bon séjour, le personnel est adorable et il y a plein de beaux spots à proximité. Pour aller de l'hôtel au port, il faut prendre une calèche (8€ max 3 pers), c'est fun. Possibilite aussi de louer un scooter électrique (10€/24h). Le petit déjeuner est très correct et peut se prendre à la plage.

Cons:

La vétusté des installations, vraiment dommage.
Notre piscine était sale et verte à notre arrivée mais a été nettoyée le lendemain.
