Gut gelegen - dringend Sicht auf Innenhof (nicht Meersicht) da eine extrem befahrene ganznachts zu Fensterschliessen auffordert.

The old rough ripped towels
Das Hotel ist viel besser als der erste Eindruck. Die Zimmer sind alt, aber es funktioniert alles und ist sauber. Das Zimmer war riesig, die Einrichtung Zeugen des letzten Jahrhunderts. Dusche funktioniert, Wasser ist warm. Das Personal war sehr freundlich
Die Eingangstür hat geklemmt, so dass ich mit Rucksack nicht rein konnte :)
La ubicación nada más
La habitación y el hotel en si necesita una reforma total, las camas muy incómodas, las ventanas de los años 80 malísimas, los enchufes o no funcionaban o estaban medio quemados, el baño era de cuéntame pero más antiguo, había hormigas en la habitación es un desastre de las tres estrellas que tiene yo no le dejaría ni una está para cerrar y tirarlo entero, la puerta era de estas de cartón en fin un desastre

Location is wonderful! Great views from my room. When we had rain it was great to enjoy the view of the rain from my room. Also the café on premises was open for both breakfast and lunch, allowing for a relaxed meal without leaving the hotel. A few blocks away there is a great municipal fitness center priced very reasonably. I initially booked one night, but because of the great location, I added in 2 extra nights to relax and recharge while hiking on Camino Inglès.

This review is for the 2 extra days that I stayed at this incredible location on Pontedeume.
The front reception person went above and beyond to assist me as I was exhausted and had experienced a knee issue and was somewhat grumpy. I credit the hotel reception person on my extended stay with leaving me with a good experience. She was great.
My check-in on the first night was a little difficult, and I accept responsibility for being somewhat difficult. The next day, the hotel reception person was great. She made this visit very pleasant. If you are traveling, hiking on a Camino, such as this Camino Inglès, you need to be more flexible with communication, especially when you are fatigued from walking all day, sometimes in the rain. I recognize that things are not always going to be perfect. What I look at is how the accommodation staff reacts. I greatly value and appreciate when people are patient when I struggle with my very basic Spanish language skills. This hotel in particular really helped me with my poor language skills.
