Hervorragende Unterkunft mit Spitzenrestaurant.
Pros:

Wir waren als Familie mit fünf Personen inklusive Oma und Opa für eine Nacht im Hotel. Das Hotel ist exklusiv ausgestattet und die Zimmer sind neuwertig. Im Restaurant im Erdgeschoss gibt es ein Frühstück der Spitzenklasse. Außerdem hat das Restaurant eine sehr gute Küche für Abendessen oder Mittagessen. Wir waren in verschiedenen Hotels in Hermannstadt und dieses Hotel war mit Abstand die beste Wahl. Auch der Preis war im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels mehr als okay. Man kann von hier aus zu Fuß über die Lügenbrücke in die Innenstadt laufen.

Nicht mehr als ein Mittelklassehotel
Pros:

Wir waren 3 Nächte in diesem Hotel. Gefallen hat uns die Lage, es ist ruhig und fußläufig zur Altstadt.
Das Restaurant im Haus ist empfehlenswert, gutes Essen und freundliches, effizientes Personal.

Cons:

Insgesamt waren wir recht enttäuscht, hatten wir doch auf unserer Rundreise schon diverse 2, 3 und 4* Sterne Unterkünfte kennengelernt. Woher die 4 * kommen, können wir nicht nachvollziehen. Bis auf die Dame bei der Ankunft war das Personal eher desinteressiert. Ein "guten Morgen" muss schon vom Gast kommen....Dann wird eventuell vom Bildschirm oder Handy aufgeschaut und geantwortet.....
Das Frühstück hat Luft nach oben, jeden Morgen die gleichen Sesambrötchen, Aprikose- und Pfirsichmarmelade - etwas mehr Abwechslung wäre schön gewesen. Meine bescheidene Bitte um ganz normale schwarze Teebeutel hat keinen wirklich interessiert. Die Kaffeemaschine streikte zwischendurch (20 Minuten) und das Personal war nicht bereit zur Überbrückung die Frühstücksgäste mit Kaffee aus der großen Siebträgermaschine hinter der Theke zu versorgen. Das Personal jedoch hat sich an allen 3 Morgenden dort fleißig bedient.
Der Safe im Zimmer war lose, die beiden doppelseitigen Klebestreifen waren sichtbar. Die Möbel auf dem Balkon waren schon schwer mitgenommen und beschädigt. Insgesamt alles etwas lieblos.
