Great place to stay. We’ll definitely be back on our next visit to Sanur!
Pros:

We’ve stayed here before and love it. Location is fantastic and peaceful with plenty of warungs, restaurants and shopping within a few minutes walk. The staff (Muri, Simon & Budi) are absolutely lovely and happy to help with anything.

Cons:

Like most accommodation in Bali the seating can be a bit uncomfortable but the daybeds by the pool are comfy.

Lovely!
Pros:

Hosts, Muri and Simon are wonderful hosts; quick to attend to any issues, friendly, helpful and kind. Spacious apartment in quiet location with supermarket nearby. Able to walk to everything you need. Gas stovetop and large fridge were very useful. Great supply of drinking water. Lovely outlook over the pool and garden.

Cons:

My kitchen got the afternoon sun which made the living area hot. I found the chairs in the lounge area a bit uncomfortable. Frequent disconnections whilst streaming videos.

We enjoyed it so much that we are staying there on our way back to Sanur
Pros:

The villa was a great size and tastefully decorated..the gardens are delightful and the pool was very clean and inviting..the location is very convenient down a quiet clean street with restaurants very close by and a short walk to the Main Street and the beach..Muri and the staff are super friendly and helpful..the beds are comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped ..we couldn’t fault the place and thoroughly enjoyed our stay .. I looked at a lot of hotel options and Starling villas had great reviews that lived up to my expectations..it’s not 5 star but it’s great value for money 🙂

Charming stay in a great location – felt very welcoming
Pros:

We had a really pleasant stay at Starling Villas in Sanur and felt very comfortable throughout. The location is excellent – you can easily walk into town where you’ll find plenty of restaurants, cafés and laundry services nearby.
The accommodation has a lovely layout, with several small apartments surrounding a central pool and common area, which creates a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
The rooms were well equipped, with air conditioning and a small kitchen area, which was very convenient for making coffee or simple meals. While the place is not ultra-modern, it has a lot of charm and feels more personal and unique compared to large hotel chains.
The host was especially wonderful – very friendly and welcoming, and she gave us great tips for things to do in the area. We really enjoyed chatting with her.
We actually would have loved to stay longer, but unfortunately had to leave earlier due to changes in our travel plans.
Overall, we highly recommend this place.

Fantastic place and staff
Pros:

The location and staff were excellent. Staff are very friendly, care about what they do, and are genuinely great people.

Cons:

Nothing with the place or staff. Only the Bali weather in wet season is a bit unpredictable. I would stay again in a second.

Preis - Leistung stimmt nicht.
Pros:

Die Unterkunft lag zentral. Zu Fuss ist die Hauptstrasse gut zu erreichen.
Die Anlage ist wunderschön bepflanzt. Es gibt süsse Katzen die zu Besuch kommen.

Cons:

Leider ist die Ausstattung zum Teil sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Die Türen sind nicht dicht und daher ist es schwer sich gegen Krabbeltiere zu wehren. Die Managerin ist kaum vor Ort. Dies zeugt von viel Vertrauen, macht aber die Kommunikation sehr schwierig.

Meie kõige parem ja mugavam peatumine Balil. Reisime lastega, seega ootused majutusele kõrged ning siin oli kõik suurepärane. Tuba koristati iga päev, köögis oli suur veetünn mageveega mis tegi sooja ja kuuma vett. Lapsevoodi ja lapsetool söömiseks. Meie host Muri rääkis väga head inglise keelt ja aitas meid mitme probleemiga. Lähedal asuvad hea söögi ja hinnaga restod ja kohvikohad. Lapse käruga sai liikuda otse randa, see oli luksus mida ülejäänud Balil ei kohta väga. Igatsesime seda võimalust igal pool mujal ka. Ilus vannituba ja dušši all käimine oli tore - paljudes Bali majutustes oli just vannituba väga kole aga seal oli kõik suurepärane. Basseini puhastati iga päev ja seal oli mõnus ujuda.

Cons:

Kõik oli suurepärane kui välja arvata et mitte kassi inimesena olid kassid veidi tüütud. Tuli kogu aeg peale passida et nad tuppa ei tuleks ja õues söömine oli raskendatud sest kui tulid õue toiduga olid kassid kohe laua peal platsis. Keda see ei häiri siis polegi muud öelda.

Pros:

Muri und ihre Freunde sind fantastisch. So freundlich, ruhig und hilfsbereit.
Wir waren vier Wochen da und wollten gar nicht mehr weg. Wir haben uns durchgehend wohl und sicher gefühlt. Es war ruhig und trotzdem nah genug um zum Supermarkt oder ins Restaurant zu laufen. Auch Wäschereien sind in der Nähe.
Die Villa ist mit allem ausgestattet, das Bett mega bequem und die Klimaanlage war schon eine Erleichterung. Die Villa ist groß mit Schränken und Regalen für alles.
Meine kleine Tochter liebte den Pool und die lieben Kätzchen. Wenn man abends gesucht hat, konnte man im Garten auch Geckos oder Frösche finden.
Sanur ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für alle möglichen Touren.

Cons:

Wir waren nur traurig, als der Urlaub zu Ende war und hoffen auf ein Wiedersehen.
