Please note that The Barnstaple Hotel is a busy function hotel and at times has music playing until 01:00 in the function suite. There are times when this can be heard in some garden court and pool view rooms.

There was an unpleasant smell from the outdoor pool area at times that reached the bedroom and we had to shut the windows and door

The location was strange, but all in all staff was nice and friendly , the hotel room was a bit small , I liked their decor but it needed touching up. It does reflect the cost so it was good.

Bedroom far to hot. Bed was concave room no 45. Outdoor balcony light n a timer too late. Batman served my double gin in a 1/2 pint beer glass!
